Surrounded by trees on all sides, with a gorgeous mountain view. The main room is wonderfully sunny and spacious (the pictures do not do it justice!) and everything is high quality but also cozy and comfortable. The owner was communicative and helpful prior to our trip, and available for questions and recommendations all through our stay. The only “negative” (which doesn’t have to be if you plan accordingly) is it’s 25 mins to the nearest supermarket. In our case the remoteness of the property was a plus. You can’t see neighbors and it really feels like a winter oasis. We came well stocked and had a wonderful few days relaxing, cooking and exploring the wilderness with the kiddos.
