Guests from all over the state come to enjoy the spring-fed, blue water of the San Marcos River which has a consistent good flow, great fishing & is perfect for tubing & kayaking! The property is clean & well maintained & run by a friendly, professionally staff. This Cabin has everything you need to be comfortable while enjoying the outdoors including: central air-conditioning/heating, full bathroom with hot water shower, full kitchen with pots pans, dishes and silverware, a comfortable King sized bed with linens, pillows and blankets, a couch, WiFi & Smart TV. Son's Blue River Camp is a fun, relaxing property located on the gorgeous San Marcos R. with 44 cabins, 36 Cabanas as well as tube and kayak rentals. The space Relax in nature with all the comforts and conveniences of home! Don't be fooled by the tent look, our Glamping Cabins are double walled, insulated and air-conditioned/heated and come with kitchenette a comfortable queen bed and twin day bed with linens, pillows and blankets. Hang out at the river, lay in a hammock, tube, kayak, BBQ, play beach volleyball, swim, fish , roast marshmallows and more! Guest access Son’s Blue River camp also rents Riverside Cabanas that can be added to a guests stay but it’s best to reserve ahead of time as we are normally full every day in the summer and most weekends. Cabanas are available from 10:30 AM - 6:30 PM and come with picnic table, BBQ pit, comfortable outdoor wicker furniture, water and electricity. Cabana rentals are extra, though Cabin guests may use picnic tables, lounge chairs and umbrellas down by the water free of charge. Other things to note Son’s Blue River camp also rents Riverside Cabanas that can be added to a guests stay but it’s best to reserve ahead of time as we are normally full every day in the summer and most weekends. Cabanas are available from 10:30 AM - 6:30 PM and come with picnic table, BBQ pit, comfortable outdoor wicker furniture, water and electricity. Cabana rentals are extra, though Cabin guests may use picnic tables, lounge chairs and umbrellas down by the water free of charge. We also rent tubs and kayaks. We have another location 2 miles up river which is our tubing/kayaking put in. Shuttles run back and forth during the high season every day and most weekends during the off season (we do not run shuttles in the winter however and shuttles must be scheduled ahead of time). Our section of the river is very family friendly and has no dangerous dams or rapids. It’s a great place for beginners to kayak and just about anyone can tube. Kitchen amenities could of been a bit better. Property has an outdoor grill but now grilling tools that seemed odd. We did find some trash under beds and back porch. There is a weird smell not sure where its coming from. Kinda smells like propane. The wifi login & password info given for tv and internet did not work. Called to get resolved an didnt get anything resolved. The cabin walls are pretty thin so It was quite annoying that you could hear everything going on in cabin #3\. Kids screaming/crying late into the night. Running around and moving chairs constantly. Staff seems non existant and not very frei day or helpful. You have a beautiful place here but we probably wont come back again. ##### Deborah K. There's was trash on the porch, lights that's didn't reach a plug, filthy air filters, flickering light in the fridge, a used condom by the firepit, the view wasn't what I expected, this is to name a few. Like I said very relaxing and enjoyable but maybe could use a better cleaning service. ##### Tracy P. String of lights were out front to allow for visiting after dark at picnic tables. Hammock and BBQ grill under the lights as well.
