The property was great, good parking, easy check in and very clean. My only complaint was the fact there is no mirror in the main room where the dressing table area is so when getting ready and straightening my hair and doing make up it wasn’t convenient with only a mirror in the bathroom. But it wouldn’t stop me coming back. The pub next door was amazing food and atmosphere and the staff where very very good. Would return. Beds were really comfortable but the single bed is very narrow. Basic room that’s modern but looks like a cheap renovation that won’t stand the test of time. Bedroom was clean although floor despite looking clean was filthy as my daughters sock were black after just a short time. Bathroom was ok but looked like it could do with a deep clean and some good limescale remover ( very picky however!) the spiders in the bathroom on the ceiling were disgusting however! Had 4 EV chargers and the two by the rooms didn’t even look to be live. The two by pub were out of order! Lovely, remote area and a really nice room, all the handy amenities including such as a fridge, coffee machine etc. Really clean and a nice quiet location right next to a small country pub. Quiet location no breakfast but it is a motel and the pub next door don’t do breakfast so come prepared other than that the room and bathroom are bigger than most and it it was so clean and comfortable, bed is massive and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place. Pub staff very polite and helpful. The communications throughout have been fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. I was I able to leave our car in their car park well before check in time. With it being Sunday I was unable to book a Taxi to our granddaughters christening. Staff very kindly offered and drove us the 12 miles to the church! Absolutely outstanding!!!! Beautifully decorated and appointed. Large TV in room. Comfortable bed. Only negative is that the room was hot so had to open window and nearby road is noisy.
