North Norfolk The Old Butcher’s Shop is a luxury, dog friendly holiday home just 5 miles from the coast at Brancaster. With a laidback, contemporary feel, this spacious yet cosy cottage sleeps 8 in 2 double rooms and 2 twin rooms. There is plenty of space for all to enjoy with a large lounge, kitchen and separate dining room, family bathroom and ensuite shower room. All rooms are beautifully furnished and styled. A real home from home and a great place to relax at the end of a busy day. The space The Old Butcher’s Shop offers a wonderful space for guests. Lounge To the right of the entrance hall, the large lounge provides seating for 8 with a wood burner to cosy up to on cooler evenings. There is also a flat screen TV, DVD player and a cupboard full of games. The French doors provide access to the enclosed rear garden. Logs for the wood burner are supplied between October and the end of March for guests to use. Kitchen To the left of the entrance hall is the kitchen with a table and chairs, range cooker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and microwave. Dining Room There is also a separate dining room with seating for 8. Bedrooms There are 2 double bedrooms upstairs with an ensuite shower room to the master bedroom. There are 2 twin bedrooms downstairs. All bedding consists of feather and down duvets and pillows. Bedroom 1 - master bedroom This is a double bedroom with an ensuite shower room, wardrobe with plenty of hangers, 2 chests of drawers, bedside cabinets and comfy chair. This bedroom is upstairs. Bedroom 2 This a double bedroom with wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside cabinets and chair. This bedroom is upstairs. Bedroom 3 This is a twin bedroom with wardrobe, chest of drawers and comfy chair. This bedroom is downstairs. Bedroom 4 This bedroom is downstairs and is a twin bedroom . The bedroom also has a chest of drawers, bedside cabinet and handing space. Bathroom & Ensuite Shower Room The family bathroom which includes a toilet, bath and separate shower is downstairs. The ensuite shower room is upstairs. Rear Hall & Upstairs Landing Take a book from the bookcase in the rear downstairs hall (with access to the garden) and escape to the peace and quiet of the upstairs landing with an armchair, table and reading lamp. Utility Room There is also a utility room with a toilet, washing machine, tumble dryer and second fridge. Table Tennis The games room off the rear, enclosed garden with a table tennis table will keep children and adults entertained. Garden With an outdoor table and chairs and umbrella for shade, you can enjoy cooking on the BBQ in the enclosed, rear garden on warm evenings. Please note you will need to provide your own charcoal for the bbq and we kindly ask that if used please clean after using ready for the next guests as this is not covered by the housekeeping team. Dog Friendly This well equipped, dog friendly (max 2) property is perfect for the whole family or a groups of friends whatever the time of year. Parking There is plenty of parking available in the driveway for at least 4 cars. Guest access You will have exclusive use of the property for the duration of your stay. The property was just as we had hoped plenty of room, beds comfortable. Everything we needed provided for us. Very quick response from Emma the host, when we needed her (couldn’t work out the heating soon sorted though) My 3.5year old grandson loved chasing around the rooms, and tye garden. Definitely need a car to get around. We didn’t have time to check if the TV worked far too busy playing games. I would highly recommend this property and wouldn’t think twice about revisiting.
