Neptune is superbly located for all nature and seaside pursuits. Neptune has been extensively refurbished during 2012 and 2015 to create an outstanding beach cabin of excellent quality. The three bedrooms are contained within the old boat part of the building, with the open plan kitchen/dining/living area, bathroom, cloakroom and hallway housed within a later extension. Neptune enjoys a lovely position set back from the beach by about 40 paces. The raised terrace at the rear of the property directly overlooks the Creek and enjoys fabulous sunshine in a wonderfully tranquil setting. A perfect place for relaxing, dining and taking drinks. This is a perfect family retreat in a great beach location, yet close to a great number of amenities, making it ideal for all types of holiday makers. Heacham has much to offer including pubs, restaurants, indoor play activities for children to name but a few. There is a handy cafe at the top of South Beach Road too, great if you don't fancy cooking a Full English yourself! The Farmer Fred's Play Barn is a great indoor play adventure for children, which is extremely handy when the weather isn't playing ball! The food here is also surprisingly good. The pick of the pubs in Heacham is probably The West Norfolk. You will need to book your Sunday lunch if you don't want to be disappointed. There are local shops for groceries including a Tesco Express and superstores within 4 miles at Hunstanton. By foot the Jennings shop, up the road, has most of the essentials and many non-essentials well covered. Get your groceries delivered direct from Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Ocado and save room on packing. Get takeaway curries, fish and chips, kebabs, pizzas etc delivered when you fancy too! Whilst Beachside is located in a very peaceful location, it is still very well served with local facilities. Excellent parking at the front for a couple of cars too. For more detailed information and to view our T's & C's please visit Changeover days during High Season are Fridays. Our prices are fully inclusive of cleaning and laundry. ELECTRIC CARS: Due to insurance purposes, guests must never charge their car using a standard outdoor plug or an extension cable linking to a domestic plug. This is not permitted because of fire regulations regarding wiring, earthing rods and voltage restrictions; it poses a serious fire risk to standard 13 amp sockets and there is a real danger that the body of the vehicle could become live. There is no EV Charging point at the property and if you have an EV, you will need to charge it elsewhere. The children loved the swing in the garden and feeding the ducks. The accommodation is spacious and the heating was very effective and helped make the stay very comfortable. We returned to the lodge after a wonderful stay last October and were once again impressed with the whole experience. Fantastic and considerate communication, super clean inside the whole property and a location that is difficult to better. It was quiet and we came home feeling suitably rested and rejuvenated. Neptune was THE perfect place for our October short break. From booking to staying the whole process was amazing with fantastic communication from the owner. The lodge itself blew us away when we arrived, spotlessly kept and with views to die for. It had everything we needed and was located an extremely short walk from the beach, which we spent hours walking on. Really close to the beach and the balcony at the back that looks onto a creek at the end of the garden is a great bonus for bird watchers. We had daily visits from ducks and their ducklings and also swans and their Signets. Where the property is situated is excellent as it was peaceful but a short walk takes you to local amenities. Great for walks along the beach or old railway line. The accommodation surpassed our expectations, which is hard when the age range is from 14 years to 80+. ##### Fiona M. Gorgeous beachside property, just a few metres from the sand of the west Norfolk coast. Easy to get to local nature reserves, RSPBs and pretty towns and cities.
