For golf lovers, the nearby course provides an exceptional place to enjoy the sport amidst spectacular scenery. The property is well-placed for guests who wish to leave their cars parked up and explore on foot. The charming village is just a short walk via a pedestrian pathway, to pubs serving good food, and a seafood shop selling freshly caught produce. Brancaster Beach is beautiful year-round and offers both a sunny retreat and bracing walks.  
  
There are a series of nature reserves to explore, including the RSPB-managed Titchwell Marsh, whose reed beds and lagoons are home to nesting avocets, marsh harriers and bitterns. From the little harbour at Brancaster Staithe, boats run to Scolt Head Island, also a bird sanctuary and nature reserve. Bustling Burnham Market is 5 minutes drive for a unique mix of boutique and antique shops and eateries. Further along the coast are the seal colonies at Blakeney Point, the Victorian seaside town of Hunstanton has striped cliffs and, a sandy beach full of rock pools at low tide.
