In the winter the golf course is open for XC skiing, sledding, snowshoeing, and dog walking. You are also only 15 minutes from Northstar Ski Resort, with the bonus that the location of the house will keep you away from the ski traffic through Kings Beach. If you are looking for XC trails you are less than a 10-minute drive to the North Tahoe Regional park, or if you are feeling extra adventurous you can access their trail system from Tiger Ave just above the house. This same trail system is great for hiking and biking in the summer. With its easy access to town, ski resorts, golfing, and the lake, this cabin is a great home base for the ultimate Tahoe getaway any time of the year. Getting Around: The home is less than a 10-minute walk to the nearest public transportation stop HWY 28 at Secline St or KB Safeway Store which runs every hour. Or make the short 2-minute drive or 12-minute walk down to King's Beach, where you can use the FREE park and ride to reach locations such as Olympic Park and Northstar California Resort. With HWY 89 just minutes away, you can easily make day trips to many of the stunning surrounding areas around Tahoe City. Tahoe has UBER, Lyft, and many taxi companies.
