The property was perfect for us, with lots of areas for everyone to spread out, and a beautiful large open living area with a big table that easily fit us all (and the current jigsaw puzzle). Short walk to the beach but you'll want to drive your paddleboard or kayak because it's pretty steep. Inside we found everything we needed as well as a few extras that were very much appreciated. It's just a short walk to the lake and a short drive to Lots of fun things to do. Really the only complaints we had were that the hot tub wasn't working and there weren't enough chairs for the whole family to sit around the table. Pretty minor complaints. We spent 4 nights at the lake (including Christmas Day) and it couldnt have been any more magical. We took advantage of the hot tub, enjoyed the openness of the main floor so regardless of who was where, we were together. The view from the deck was AMAZING and the little place down the road had some pretty good pizza. Liz was super easy to contact and she even let us know that we would be able to check in early if we wanted which was a huge perk for us. Thank you for the amazing experience! ##### Shelley A. Jun 27, 2024 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Idyllic, Tranquil Lakeside Getaway The photos do not do this beautiful chalet justice, as the house and grounds are much more impressive in person. The amenities inside and outside are well-thought out: the showpiece living room with its vaulted high ceilings makes for a cozy and inviting space, while the gorgeous near-wrap around deck gives stunning views of the lake and grounds. Internet was fast and available throughout the home, and it was a bonus to have a separate basement suite with its own kitchen and laundry facilities. We had 9 adults in our group, and each of us was able to find our own cozy nook to rest and recharge. We also enjoyed being a short walk down a secluded beach to take in the best of the Okanagan summer. Everyone loved it Beautiful scenery, beautiful yard , unique , able to go for a walks to see the lake in the beach minutes away ! the girls all loved it. There was 12 ladies ages 49 to 66\. We enjoyed the hot tub, the deck, the lovely sitting area above the living room in the loft area. We had snow and a little bit of bad roads when we were leaving, the Landlord was there cleaning our snow and gave me a tow with his own vehicle up to the highway and helped get some of the guests into Vernon, so we didnā€™t have to come back on that road. Muchly appreciated ! love the place! would come back again. ##### Penny J.
