Made a trip to for the weekend so my husband and I could help our son install new windows on his home.
Upon arriving to the hotel,(Friday)the front desk attendant explained to us that there was an internet issue, that there was no pool, and that the elevators were out of order. But looked at our booking and said, "Oh, no need to worry, because we have you in a room on the first floor." (no big deal to us, but certainly an issue to someone that couldn't possibly use the stairs. Our first two nights were fine. Woke up in the morning and took a shower and then immediately left the hotel to go spend the day at our sons house to demo and install the windows. After a full days work we didn't arrive back at the hotel till past 12 am. We just decided to crash and go to sleep. After anticipating an evening of good rest, there was nothing better to look forward to than a nice warm shower in the morning before catching our flight back home. To our surprise, the next morning, there was NO hot water. So unfortunately we were not able to clean and leave as we expected. During the check out process, we complained about the issue to only be apologized to and explained that their hot water tanks are down and that they couldn't find someone to fix the issue over the weekend. (NO Notice was given) Leaving very disappointed (and dirty) we had asked if we could get some sort of compensation. We were told that our issue would be known to the manager. Nothing was ever solved towards our stay :(
