We arrived at 9:30 after a day of travel to find out they didn’t have our reservation. I had my confirmation. I didn’t want to hear whose problem it was, or why it might have happened. I just wanted the room I had paid for. They didn’t have any ready. An hour later someone came to clean the last room they had in the hotel. Why not have all your rooms clean in case they have issues like this? We sat in the lobby for an hour. No lights were turned on, nothing offered. Water, a snack. No apology or anything to make us feel like the customer service was being given. Instead I was made to feel like since I booked through hotels.com it was my problem, I must have had made the error. I’ve used this website for corporate travel the last 8 years. This was the first issue of this kind I’ve run into.
I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again. We have family in Temple and will look for other options next time.
