Sounds Good is tucked away in a gated community brimming with amenities to enhance your stay. Enjoy access to a soundfront beach, playground for the little ones, a covered picnic area for gatherings, and an Olympic-size saltwater pool for refreshing dips.

For water enthusiasts, our community offers a convenient boat launch (with a nominal $25 fee) and a Marina for hassle-free boating experiences. Sports enthusiasts can make use of our tennis courts and basketball court for friendly games.

Great first time to the OBX area.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Sounds Good location. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed for the week (plus more). We had plenty of room for our family (6 adults and 1 toddler). We had a perfect view of the sound and the neighborhood felt very safe. The communication from the realty office was great and we felt welcomed from the get-go. I’d highly recommend using this company or staying at one of their rentals when visiting the area.

Week stay okay

We had a nice time in outer banks however we would not stay at this property again. The beds were so uncomfortable and hot in bedrooms they need ceiling fans them. The pool and beach are not as close as listed and no information was given about where the pool was located or that you needed money to get bands that you get back once bands are handed in. It wasn’t super dirty but definitely needs to be deep cleaned things pulled out and cleaned behind and under stuff. Also I have never stay anywhere that you have to pay extra for sheets on your bed and towels that’s crazy so we brought our own. Also bring your own knives if your going to cook because ones in kitchen are super dull and do not count much. Area was nice and we had an issue with back door with the trim and they came out right away to fix (break bottom of trim piece off). Pool was nice once we got to it but the ladies Who run pool are crazy and the kids couldn’t hardly do anything in the pool except use their dive toys and swim laps. We could of definitely stayed right on the beach somewhere else for as much as we paid and had nicer accommodations.

Nice place. Great location.

Wonderful location right on the water in a very nice neighborhood. There have been some flooring upgrades and interior cleanliness was much better than some of the previous reviews. The yard does need to be maintained much better and the lock on the front door is a bit finicky. The ladder leading into the sound was unusable. One other suggestion would be to have front and rear screen doors.. the breeze that comes through the house is amazing.
