Located in the ponderosa pines. The lake is a 5-10 minute walk from AX's Lumber Jack Inn. Public access boating, fishing and hiking trails within walking distance. You will see wild game on your drive up and also at the Inn. 44 miles to Glacier 24 miles to whitefish 14 miles to Kalispell This converted old barn. It has two private places in one building you can book both sides and bring the family. There is a private deck, Grill,picnic table, fire pit. The bed was very comfortable, but the couch was very old and stained so we laid a blanket on it. The outside of the property was horrible. The grass was knee high in and around the fire pit. A little off the beaten path, but we enjoyed being surrounded by nature. Our stay was very comfortable, with everything we needed. A nice kitchen set up, an area to comfortably relax and play games or watch movies. Bikes and kayak were available to enjoy the near by lake. It appears someone tried to zip-tie it together but had a larger child or adult been sleeping on it, it would not have worked as the entire bottom sagged to the the floor. A small window A/C unit would have been a life-saver at night. It was so hot. But that being said, the place was super cute and functional. The property was nice.
