We stayed at the Aston Maui Banyan for 2 nights during our honeymoon. The front desk staff were very efficient and helpful.
If are looking to book any fun tours, talk to Irene at the tour desk.. She knows about everything that's going on in Maui.. And can get the best deals!!
Our room had no view ( sadly) but everything was clean and comfortable.
Even though you were right on the beach the Hotel is situated in such a fashion that there are no real views from your room. If you're looking for easy access to the beach this is hotel is perfect. If you're looking for a view there are only two rooms of the entire complex that give you views. I was lucky enough to get one of those two rooms so I was extremely pleased with my stay.
The hotel was better than we expected. The balcony was large with sliding glass doors that opened almost the full width of the room. Spectacular view. We could see the sea turtles swimming in the ocean from our 8th floor balcony! The snorkelling in front of our hotel was better than the snorkelling tour we paid for! The room was clean and the kitchen was extremely well equipped. All the staff, bartenders, waitresses,
, cleaners, security and front desk were professional and helpful. Great happy hour prices in the bar. The hotel restaurant was good, expensive but good. Beautiful setting. Grounds were so clean. Rental store for bikes, boards and swimming equipment right in hotel. General store in the building with prepared foods and alcohol.
Overall it was a 10. One of the best holidays we had.
Everything you need is there and in walking distance.
The hotel shuttle for a 3 mile radius, is great way to go out in the evening.
The day trips taken from the hotel worked out well.
The one day car rental from Avis for Sunday was well worth it to do some sight seeing on our own.
Easy driving as the speed limit is 55 mph.
We loved the resort and the location. The room was clean and had all the necessary items one would need (blow dryer/iron/cooking utensils). My only complain was the comfort of the bed, it wasn't the best mattress. However, my parents had a different room at the resort and their bed was great. I think it depends on the individual condo owners. The patio was amazing!
"GREAT BIRTHDAY PRESENT FOR MY 76-YR. OLD SISTER."
THE CONDO AT THE CASTLE KAMAOLE SANDS WAS OVER AND BEYOND MY SISTER'S EXPECTATIONS.
SHE AND MY NIECE REALLY ENJOYED THE FOUR NIGHTS AT THIS CONDO. IT WAS NICELY DECORATED, THE STAFF WERE FRIENDLY AND A FOUR-STAR EXPERIENCE!
This condo was beautiful, spacious and had everything one would need for a beach vacation. The location was great for beaches, restaurants and stores. It was an easy access point to get anywhere on the island.
Kihei has many big-city amenities, including notable restaurants. Here, visitors can sample Hawaiian cuisine and learn about the state’s obsession with SPAM, the canned meat. Kihei’s beaches—Kamaole, Keawakapu, Kihei, and Mai Poina—are good for walking, swimming, and windsurfing. Makena Beach, south of Kihei, is aptly nicknamed the Big Beach. This beach is 100 yards wide and almost a mile long.
