Maui County Mayor has recently (Dec 2025) approved removing several properties from the Short Term Rental Market (over several years) but this condo is not part of that effort. If you come to Maui for the warm breezes that seem to kiss your skin, then this unit -#203 - is just waiting for you. The trade winds that love our area keep you cool and comfy. Not that you need it that much but there is AIR CONDITIONING - and it sure is nice to have when the trade winds take their own vacation! Air handlers are in each bedroom and the living room. Relax on your private lanai where you can watch the ocean and maybe even some whales in the winter months. Kite surfers love the harbor and you can watch them from your perch on the lanai as well. Love the mountains? You can see those gorgeous views too. Go to sleep to, and wake up to, the sound of the ocean lapping at the beach - enjoy your morning coffee on the lanai as the sun wakes up and lights the West Maui Mountains. A glass of wine in the evening as the sun sets, the lights twinkling at Ma'alaea Harbor, and the breeze ruffling your hair, is pure perfection. This two bedroom, two bath 2nd floor condominium will be your home while you explore the magic of the Valley Isle. In winter months, the Humpback whales provide a show you'll never forget - and yes, you can often see them from the lanai - and of course the rooftop! Be sure to also visit the whale museum and information center next door. This well appointed unit comes with a FULLY EQUIPPED KITCHEN, REVOLVING PANTRY, and WASHER/DRYER. All of your linen needs are included; the master bedroom and the living areas include flat screen TVs. WIFI internet is FREE OF CHARGE. The wifi access information is near the TV, in the information binder and in the kitchen. \*\*\*THIS IS A NON-SMOKING UNIT\*\*\* In front of the complex is the Ko'ie'ie Fishpond - an ancient wall built several hundred years ago by local fisherman to snare their fish. This wall now creates a calm beachfront for swimming - perfect for little ones or older ones. Walk around the point in front of the National Humpback Whale Sanctuary next door and find a few bigger waves perfect for boogie boarding and watching the wind surfers out in Ma'alaea Harbor. The sea turtles love to hang out on this wall and sometimes take their naps right on the beach. Please DO NOT get closer than 10ft of these beautiful creatures! The condo felt comfortable and easy to settle into right away. The kitchen made cooking simple, and we loved having beach chairs and lots of towels available. One of our favourite parts was seeing the sea turtles sleeping at a distance, along the seawall.The location was great: right at the ocean and quiet, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind. Having a protected lagoon is wonderful for kids, and watching the turtles at low tide a nice bonus. The rooftop is nice albiet very windy. Sunset watching from the lanai. The unit is super well equipped. Most of what you need is already there. And having the washer and dryer is wonderful! Nice showers and bedrooms. The kitchen and living room is pretty tight though. Not a lot of things in the neighborhood that are easily walked to, but it is quiet. The grounds are very well maintained and easily accessed. This is an older unit that has been upgraded and well maintained. Definitely would recommend. ##### Glori S. She didn’t leave a thing out and made things super easy. Her place was awesome. We had everything g we needed for a ten night stay including an amazing view of the ocean! Sitting on the Lanai in the morning was other worldly. The condo was set up perfectly with two bathrooms and two bedrooms. Beds were amazingly comfortable and there was a desk in one of the rooms that came in handy for work. We were there during the tsunami alert and had to evacuate. Sharon checked in on us to make sure we were safe and knew where to evacuate. What a sweetheart! Thank you for everything Sharon. Two last things, the Indian restaurant on site, Monsoon Bar and Grill, is amazing! And the beach and fishing pool was turtle central and amazing for kids. Turtles all day long and they would come to shore at sunset. The place was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with amenities. We really enjoyed that there were floaties and other beach accessories! We were there at the peak of whale season and rented a kayak that we took right out of the bay at the condo and got up close and personal with amazing wildlife! The roof views of sunsets were spectacular, and the Indian restaurant in the building was delicious! I would recommend this to anyone looking to stay in the area. ##### Kristen B. Condo sited so that with all doors and windows open there is a nice breeze right through it. Never had to use the AC. Lots of supplies and kitchen was well equipped. Close to Kihei road so there is quite a bit of road noise during the day until 10 pm or so. If condo closed up you probably would not notice it. Enjoyed the on site restaurant. Clean unit that had everything we needed. Beautiful view and quiet area. My kids loved the grassy area to play games, watching the sunset from the top of the building was a favorite of ours and fun to see turtles up close in the fish pond each day. Pretty much everything you need in the condo. The 4 beach chairs and umbrella are pretty well used, but hey, lot's of places don't provide those amenities. Traveling with a 4 year old is never easy but having the fold down sofa was such a blessing. Everyone slept good while we were there. We went to the beach everyday and having beach chairs, towels, and umbrellas were extremely helpful. Condo was clean, the AC worked great, and it was in a great location.
