This is a non-smoking, professionally cleaned, recently renovated and updated one bedroom condo. It is an immaculately maintained and spacious one bedroom, third floor corner unit, with front and side views of the ocean and beach where you can enjoy the Hawaiian cross-breezes and breaking waves. This unit is one of eight units in the resort that is unusually large due to the building design. The bedroom is larger and the shower is much larger than other units. Listen and view the soothing surf from your private lanai and throughout the unit. The view across the pool and ocean and overlooking the south Maui coast is phenomenal. Sunsets are simply amazing. Our unit faces south on beautiful Maalaea Bay, which is part of the Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary. Whale season runs from November to May, with peak whale watching from January to March. Witnessing one of these mammals is simply breathtaking. This unit is well-maintained and stocked. It is nicely remodeled with new flooring (no carpet), newly updated shower and fixtures, granite counter tops in the kitchen and stainless-steel appliances. The kitchen is also stocked with plenty of kitchenware, including condiments and spices. There is updated furniture throughout the condo including a sleeper sofa with an 8-inch thick Cozy brand mattress, a 50 inch LG 4k TV in the living room and a 43 inch LG 4k TV in the bedroom. There are also end tables with charging ports for your electronic devices. In the extra- large bedroom, enjoy high thread-count linens on the pillow-top king size bed and be sure to keep the lanai windows open to fall asleep to the crashing waves and evening breezes. Beach towels, beach chairs and a small cooler are in the condo for your enjoyment. We also provide a hair dryer, soap, shampoo and conditioner. The unit also includes: • Stackable large volume high efficiency washer and dryer • Central A/C (not the noisy window air-conditioners) and a ceiling fan in the bedroom for your comfort • Key less entry system into the condo • No resort fees • Free high-speed internet (WiFi) and long distance for US and Canada calls • Covered free parking and elevators, allowing for stress-free arrivals and departures. Sugar Beach is a short drive from the airport and centrally located to explore the island. It is smack dab in the middle of Maui, allowing for equal drive times to Wailea in south Maui or Lahaina in west Maui. It is the perfect location for somebody who wants to be on the water but wants to see all of Maui. Being on the west side, sunsets were visible from the beach. The condo was clean and had the extra convenience of having an en suite washer/dryer. The property was perfect for what we wanted for our 30th anniversary trip & first trip to Hawaii! Everyone was so friendly & helpful. The owners sent us a welcome packet that had very useful information on things to do as well as some things to avoid. We loved every second of our stay. The condo was quite comfortable & had everything we needed! Many thanks to the owners & Marco who made sure everything was clean, in working order, & ready for us. The complex has pool and hot tub. The beach is very nice for walking and watching sunset, but I would suggest swimming in other beaches on Maui that are more interesting and have nicer waters. There is a very nice bakery and farm market just 10 min walk from the complex on the beach. definitely try the spicy musubi :-) Bill is really excellent at responding and has been very nice to communicate with. This condo was perfectly located with a great ocean view and a stunning sunrise view each morning. The condo was very clean and quiet. The kitchen had quality pots and pans and also had some of the basic pantry staples that you would need. I appreciated not having to purchase things like ketchup and cooking spray, The bed was comfy and the shower had plenty of hot water. The air conditioner worked quietly and kept the condo comfortable. The pool area and grounds were also clean and well maintained. The biggest negative was that the garage parking spaces were very tight, but there was plenty of uncrowded parking if we had chosen to park on the upper level of the garage. It was an easy drive to the airport, Costco, and Walmart. I did not have a need to contact the property manager, but her contact info was readily available. Overall this condo was a wonderful place to stay and I would recommend it to any couple looking for a relaxing place to vacation. It had all the amenities we needed, and the location was perfect. Sugar Beach is beautiful and was never crowded. This condo is literally just a few steps from the water, we never even needed to put on shoes to get to the beach. Being an end unit, it has a beach view from the lanai and the dining room. Sunsets here cannot be beat! The condo is very well maintained and stocked with kitchen supplies as well as recreational items. Plus the "onsite manager/contact" was great by providing immediate service to one or two minor items we had. Plus, the two different views from this end unit condo, really added to our stay and were of a great value. Bill and Cathy emailed an amazing welcome packet with all the information you need from the property to suggestions/tips of things to do. The location is wonderful because it keeps you out of the more touristy Kihei. There was a minor issue with the shower drain (probably just sand build up over time) at the beginning of my stay.
