Looking for luxury? Want to hear the ocean waves from your condo? Breathtaking views of the coastline and islands? A mile of the best sandy beach on Maui just an elevator ride away from your top floor suite? All of that and more is waiting for you at the Southernmost point of Kihei, here at Mana Kai # 811 right on Keawakapu Beach. This 767 square foot two bedroom/two bathroom eighth floor unit can accommodate up to six guests in tastefully decorated modern island style and comes with its own designated parking space. Depending on your needs you can choose from one of three options at booking: the open plan one bedroom condo with full kitchen and sitting area (which includes access to the private “million dollar view” lanai), the cozy hotel room style studio, or both spaces together for those in need of an extra room. Each area has a separate entrance connected by a short hallway. Due to Covid-19 we are no longer offer the separate rental spaces. Until further notice, only the entire 2BD/2BA space is available for rent. The open plan condo was designed to take advantage of ocean breezes and spectacular views. The king sized bed is right next to the sliding glass doors that open directly onto the lanai. Taking just a few steps from bed out into the fresh air will allow you to see the peaks of Maui's own Haleakalā National Park as well as the islands of Molokini, Kaho‘olawe, and the shoreline down from Wailea to Makena. Adjacent to the bedroom area is the sitting room with sleeper sofa and 55 inch Samsung smart TV. When privacy is needed sliding privacy wooden doors can section off the master bedroom from the main kitchen/sitting room area. Next to the bedroom is a newly renovated bathroom that has a roomy stone tile shower stall with built in seat. In the kitchen spacious stone counter tops are just waiting for you to whip up anything from a cup of coffee to a full three course meal. Dishes and cutlery have been provided as well as a full complement of GE appliances: coffee grinder/maker, toaster, microwave, refrigerator with ice dispenser, four burner induction stove, oven, and dishwasher. Inside the hotel room style studio you will find a king sized bed and bathroom with a bathtub/shower combo as well as a 42 inch Samsung flat screen smart TV, microwave, coffee maker, and mini fridge. The ocean beaches to the North can be seen from the studio room as well. Both rooms have ceiling fans, AC units, personal safes for your valuables, cable TV, a phone line with free calls nationally and to Canada, complimentary wireless internet that covers the entire resort property, and blackout drapes in addition to sheer ones for those looking to enjoy late morning wake ups. Token operated washers and dryers are located on each floor near the elevators. Before you head to the beach be sure to check out the surf shop. In addition to surfing lessons they rent out snorkeling equipment, paddle boards, kayaks, bicycles, boogie boards, beach umbrellas, and more. When you are ready to enjoy the outdoors just take a walk a few feet past the temperature controlled swimming pool and you will immediately be on soft sands of Keawakapu Beach. Lounge chairs are provided for Mana Kai guests on the lawn or bring your beach chairs, boogie board, umbrella, and noodles to the beach to take in the sun lounging, snorkeling, or body surfing. For the active visitor the resort offers yoga classes as well as a fitness center where you can choose from a variety of cardio, free weight, and strength training equipment. Beautiful beach that was incredibly accessible for swimming and snorkeling. We loved having coffee/breakfast on the lanai in the mornings, observing all that was happening on the beach below while we made our plans for the day. The beach out front is gorgeous and we'll miss the view- truly breathtaking! The condo is close to several restaurants, grocery stores, and beaches- we always felt safe at this location. Jude was an incredibly gracious and accommodating host. The unit has everything you could possibly need and more. Jude made us feel so welcomed and comfortable. This trip and unit exceeded our expectations. The unit was exactly as pictured and the hosts go above and beyond with the initial supplies they stock as well as a basket of goodies (such a wonderful surprise!). Jude (the property manager) was an excellent example of customer service perfection. We had a terminally I’ll family member with us that was experiencing changes daily and Jude assisted us as needed, no questions asked. This made her trip SO much better. The unit itself has a great view from both sides, plenty of space on the lanai for multiple people to relax, and wonderful amenities. The location of the condo is perfection, centrally located on the island to be able to get to any location easily. The beach is beautiful and the lawn is the perfect place to watch the best sunsets ever. If you’re looking for a family-friendly place to stay in Maui, I don’t hesitate recommending here (and I am slightly picky!). ##### Mandy W. This VRBO was exactly as advertised and perfect for our first trip in 3 years! We wanted to be right on the beach, where we could see and hear the ocean at all times—this condo delivered! We had to close the sliders to the lanai after the first night because the crashing waves were too loud! We enjoyed incredible early morning walks on the beach, followed by breakfast on the lanai, sitting in lounge chairs and reading on the grassy area right by the beach, jumping in the ocean for a swim and then lunch on our lanai. We were being cautious because of recent surges in COVID and found that Kihei has tons of options for good takeout food that we could enjoy in the condo while watching the sun set, as well as many open air restaurants.We were able to do the road to Hana and visit Haleakalā—plenty to do and not far from the airport. The 8th floor provides great ocean views from a great south-ish aspect that shelters the suite from direct sun. As advertised, it is very clean, well updated with great furniture (fantastic comfort) and 2 king beds. The kitchen and suite are well stocked to save buying little one time use items like salt and pepper. There are beach umbrellas, beach chairs, and beach towels. The view is good enough to make not going home a real consideration. This apt/resort was easily the best of our 7 trips to Maui. Thank you to Jude for helping it all go smoothly. The good communication made things work for us. We loved this suite. As should be expected: we cared for the suite like it was ours because it’s obvious the owner cares too. We can easily recommend this place (as long as it doesn’t impede the availability of our next stay!). There were 6 of us, 4 adults and 2 children. The condo was perfect for us! It had all the amenities we needed as a family, including beach chairs for all 6, 3 umbrellas, beach toys, beach towels and everything we needed for the kitchen, etc. it was a wonderful view from the condo and patio. We had shade most of the day and enjoyed coffee on the patio as well as the sunset! The grass area outside and beach was wonderful! Our 4 and 7 year old grandkids were comfortable snorkeling with us! They used goggles and the provided noodles to do this. The reef right there is gorgeous! It was also convenient having a deli and restaurant in the building! Wonderful food! ##### Vicki M.
