There was a tsunami and earthquake that delayed flights for days unable to get out.. when speaking to someone in Maui, they said that they all had to move to high ground the first day and the traffic was a nightmare. Front office was so friendly when we checked in and out. It was so close to everything—beautiful beach, good food, shops. The only down sides, both of which were out of our control, were that one of the parking lots was closed for construction which wasn’t an huge inconvenience. Also, our building was having some roof work done. Called to complain and were promptly moved to another building and upgraded to a full apartment. Nice apartment with a great balcony overlooking a beautiful garden.
