Ideally situated in South Kihei, nestled just beyond (1 block) from the sparkling blue ocean and white sandy beach Kamaole Beach 1, this upper floor beautifully remodeled condo is designed to relax and soothe with the endless ocean and mountain views that welcomes you upon arrival. This condo is perfect for a family vacation or couples\` getaway. Discover the best of everything Maui has to offer from this conveniently located condo. The condo has just went through a top to bottom remodel and is fully air conditioned! The all-electric kitchen features all the amenities of home. Dishwasher, stove and oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender, refrigerator and ice-maker freezer, and stackable full-size washer and dryer. All pots, pans, place settings, glasses, cutlery and utensils are furnished as well. All linens are provided- including washcloths, bath towels, beach towels, sheets and blankets, and kitchen towels. First bedroom has a comfortable King-size bed & the second bedroom has 2 twin beds, but can be set up as 1 King. Both bedrooms have flatscreen TVs. The main bedroom walks out to a lanai with gorgeous ocean view! Enter the lanai through either the living room or main bedroom where the impressive beach and ocean view awaits. Watch the sunset with a glass of wine at the table or in the comfortable chairs and sofa. The Kamaole Beach Royale property has many exciting amenities. The 7th floor Rooftop Garden is the BBQ and sunset headquarters. With 2 commercial-grade gas BBQ grills in an outdoor kitchen facility, grilling a steak for dinner is a breeze. There\`s plenty of dining tables and chairs, and lounge chairs to take in the panoramic unobstructed ocean and mountain views. The property also features a solar-heated, all-tile swimming pool in a garden setting located on the front lawn. Lounge chairs and an outdoor shower accompany the swimming pool. GUEST RENTAL AGREEMENT – 1\. CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT - Check-in time is 4 p.m. Hawaii time & Check-out time is 11 a.m. Hawaii time. Late check-out will result in an additional charge unless arrangements are made IN WRITING. 2\. NO SMOKING - This is a NON-SMOKING unit. 3\. NO PETS - Pets are not permitted 4\. Hawaii State Taxes: the tax rate is always subject to change, by the State of Hawaii. We are mandated to collect these taxes and pay them. Therefore, if the tax rate changes prior to your dates of stay, we will need to collect any additional taxes due prior to your arrival. 5\. CANCELLATIONS - A sixty (60) day notice is required for cancellation of a reservation. Cancellations that are made more than sixty (60) days prior to arrival date will incur no penalty. Cancellations made within sixty (60) days of the arrival date may forfeit the full advance payment. Refund eligibility and processing times may vary depending on the platform through which your reservation was made (e.g., Airbnb, Vrbo, or direct booking). that result in shortened stay or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent. We recommend trip insurance to protect against unforeseen cancellations or changes. If you are due a refund, a 9% fee will be charged due to credit card charges. A refund will be issued within 72 days (M-F). We have no control over the amount of time the credit card takes to issue the check. 6\. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY - The maximum number of guests for the agreed upon rate in this unit is four (4). 7\. INCLUSIVE FEES - Rates include a one-time clean linen/towel setup. Maid service is available at an additional cost. If you are interested, please let us know in advance. However, laundry/dish soap and enough paper products to last a few days are provided. Guests must purchase additional paper products as needed but need not re-stock at check-out. 8\. RATE CHANGES - Rates are subject to change without notice but will not be changed on any reservation already confirmed. 9\. FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS - Any reservation obtained under false pretenses of any kind will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check-in. If discovery of false pretenses are discovered after check-in, party will be evicted without a refund of any monies. 10\. PARKING – Parking is not assigned 11\. RULES - In addition to the conditions of this Rental Agreement, guests are required to obey any rules put forth by the resort. PERSONAL BELONGINGS - Tenants shall be responsible for their personal belongings and agree to hold the Owners harmless for any loss due to theft, or damages to or by them while occupying the unit. 13\. INSECT CLAUSE: Hawaii has one of the most enjoyable ecosystems on earth, and insects are a part of that system. We try to control this natural occurrence by regularly spraying for insects. The most common pests that may find their way into the property include ants, small beetles, gnats, mosquitos, geckos, and even cockroaches. Naturally, it is a good idea to keep the doors closed while enjoying our island, but that will not necessarily eliminate all occurrences of insects. We do not offer refunds or adjustments for pest control issues. If you notice a problem, please call Holly so we can handle it. As my first VRBO stay, I was very pleased with this property. The photos are good but I felt they didn’t do the property Justice. There were four adults on the trip and we all had plenty of space. Everything worked and the unit was well appointed. It had tons of dishes, spices and plenty of utensils to utilize. We also found that there were some books and CDs for when we got bored. Very fortunate to have the extras such as a foldable Costco gray beach cart with wide tires for the sand and some swim devices we could borrow. We also saw two totes of beach items, two umbrellas, and four beach chairs all ready to go. Ample towels were provided, too. However, we brought our own microfiber towels which don’t take on sand. I would definitely consider staying at this facility or with this owner again in the future. Two of the folks in our group enjoyed the pool, but the solar heating system didn’t look too well maintained or may have been non- functional. Those in our group who tried the pool said the pool wasn’t very warm at all. Went upstairs to check out the BBQ area. Nice and lots of space for people to hang out. Two large grills to cook on and folks using them into the late evenings. Also, I noticed that some other comments said the furniture was dated. I suppose if you are looking for the most modern, updated and spacious rental with a view, maybe you could look out years in advance; but for me, I had to book within a reasonable timeframe (less than one year) and we found this unit available and with exactly or more what we wanted for a good price. The age of the furniture or fixtures was a non issue to us. Everything worked and we had a ton of fun, as well as made wonderful memories at this location. We did find that the parking spots at this location (and in many locations in Hawaii) are very slim! We rented a Chevy Malibu which isn’t really a large car. It was difficult to get in and out of most spots in Maui, except for the Times Supermarket and Costco. So definitely consider loss damage waiver on your rental car, get a small rental, or prepare to park far away if you want lots of room around your vehicle when parking. This is certainly not a problem for the condo or stay itself but for the entire condo association at this location and others in Maui. There are SO many amazing restaurants and shops within a two block radius, and even more so if you're willing to walk 10 minutes. The area was busy but in a fun way, never crowded. We loved the sunset view every evening. It was within easy walking distance of a few coffee shops, a bakery, a small whole-foods type grocery and restaurants. The only downfall of the property is that the furnishings are a bit dated. The mattresses could be upgraded. And, the AC is just a wall unit so the back bedroom gets warm even in the evening.
