We really appreciated all of the beach chairs, water toys and wagon. The kitchen was perfect for cooking our meals and we loved eating out on the patio. Matt was an outstanding host, very responsive, and always displayed professionalism when we communicated. However, we’ve stayed at other units within the Ho’olei property previously and found this recent one to be not as clean as others. We did have issues with the dryer, had to restart several times to complete the drying process but in the end it worked. We would have liked having an iron too. We found one but it was broken.It was a very intense walk to the pool and beach but the house had a wagon we used for the kids and our gear and that made it easier.We would probably choose a different house next time just because of the proximity to the busy road. The traffic noise did take away from the relaxation while outside on the patio.But the house was great for us. Our family of nine, ranging in age from 3 to 72, gathered from two countries for a peaceful and spacious stay at this property, leaving thoroughly satisfied. While there was a minor issue with the gate security code upon arrival, it was quickly resolved by the property manager, and the rest of the check-in process went smoothly. The second garage located right in front of the unit was very convenient. The unit was well-equipped with beach gear and fans, which helped during an initial delay in air conditioning. The children loved the pool, which was a highlight of the trip. It was not crowded, had perfect water temperature, and offered complimentary coffee in the morning and iced tea in the afternoon—a thoughtful touch. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring restful nights for everyone. Some minor inconveniences included a non-functional entrance light and occasional road noise when on the patio or with windows open, but these did not detract from the overall experience. The location was excellent, with easy access to high-end hotels, an ABC Store, shopping malls, restaurants, and the beach, all within walking distance. The neighborhood was welcoming and felt safe throughout our stay. On our last day, the property manager graciously accommodated a late check-out for our evening flight, which was incredibly helpful. We had an amazing week here! I went with my husband, 2 daughters, and parents and we all loved it! The property was very clean and looked exactly like we imagined. Kitchen is very well stocked (only thing missing is steak knives). I had several questions for the property owners before and during the stay that were all answered quickly and they were always so polite and helpful. The only issue we ran into was we were told we could get towels at the pool but we were told since we didn’t book with the resort directly that we weren’t allowed to have access to the pool towels. However this was very minor because they had an abundance of pool towels for us to use at the house. It had enough space for everyone. We enjoyed our meals out on the lanai each day. The unit was well supplied, but we had a few cliches. The BBQ ignition wouldn't work, but we called and got it repaired. Also, the upper bedroom AC did not work. No cold air was blowing through the vents, even when we closed the sliding glass doors and lowered the thermostat. We weren't sure if we supposed to receive a gate key to enter the property, when we went left to go walking the local stores and the beach. We used the car keypad or followed some one else to enter back onto the property. Overall, we had a wonderful and relaxing vacation. The unit is spacious and so convenient for everyone to have their own on-suite bathroom. Everything we needed was there, towels, beach toys, chairs. The pool is lovely. Watching the sunset from Wailea beach across the street is phenomenal. We were able to leave our kids with grandparents and walk over to the Grand Wailea for a cocktail after bedtime. The pictures didn’t do it justice! The pool area was also very beautiful, peaceful and not crowded at all. The property management responded to my requests right away. Beaches, food, shopping all located conveniently nearby. You can hear the cars passing through on the road nearby from the master bedroom, but there were no complaints about the other bedrooms. Earplugs and/or sound machine app worked well!
