The property features two unique accommodation options: a two-story building with four individual apartments and a detached two-bedroom cottage. The cottage is rented out separately, as described below. Each unit is thoughtfully designed to provide comfort and convenience, making it an ideal destination for families and groups seeking a memorable getaway. Outdoor Amenities: Guests can relax on the spacious, grassy lawn, which is beautifully landscaped with swaying coconut palms. The outdoor area is equipped with gas grills, tables, and lounge chairs, providing the perfect setting for gatherings or quiet moments of reflection. All units are oceanfront, and the beach is approximately 75 feet away from the back yard. Please note that stairs are required to access all units, including those on the bottom floor, as well as the cottage, backyard, and beach area. For those requiring additional space, the detached 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom cottage (https://vrbo.com/1990869) can be booked alongside the apartment building to accommodate larger parties. Effective 1/23/26: There is daytime construction on a neighboring property. Most guests find it minimally disruptive and enjoy peaceful mornings and evenings at our home. PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING: If your group exceeds 15 guests, you must book the cottage separately. Maui's rental permit law allows only 2 guests per bedroom, including children older than 2 years old. Kids under 2 don't count toward this limit. We live in Kihei and had our families visit from the east coast. It was the PERFECT house to have multiple family members stay in as there are separate entrances and spaces. Everyone had the most amazing time. You cannot beat the location or view. Truly it made our celebration week once in a lifetime and we wouldn’t change a thing!!! We especially enjoyed lounging in front of the units while watching the waves and enjoying the ambience of the surroundings. We had three families for a total of 11 and all thoroughly enjoyed the facilities, especially playing on the beach and walking the beach at sunset. The time went too quickly! All 14 of us could not say enough. Michael was available, informative but not overbearing. He also provided fishing, snorkeling gear, water shoes, and backyard toys. Even expressed old Hawaiian hospitality by bringing enough fresh fruit to treat all of us. We hated to leave can't wait to go back. ##### Steve M. This is our second time to stay here, and it was just as enjoyable as the first! We are a family of 15, eight adults and seven children. There was plenty of room for all of us. The building was 2-one bedroom condos, and 2- two bedroom condos that have been interconnected so it’s perfect for our four families. The great yard that goes all the way to the beach was perfect for the kids and adults alike. Michael is a great host and is easy to reach anytime. We’re definitely coming back! ##### John C. We thought we were seeing Sea Otters right off the beach but I think they were Monk Seals. There were also sea turtles right off our beach too. Michael was very helpful and brought what ever we thought about. The place is a little dated but the kitchens have all been remodeled. Beds were comfortable. Check in and check out painless. My family and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this property and our host Maui Mike! From the moment we stepped foot on the lawn-it is absolutely breathtaking. We had a large family group and the accommodations were superb! We had breakfast and dinner on the lawn most days. Lots of chairs, water shoes, snorkeling gear etc. Mike came by with stories, fruit, pastries-it was such a welcome treat. Also always willing to give a recommendation or help. The town itself is super fun with lots of restaurants, shops and of course shaved ice. We hope to come back here again and again! Maholo Mike! ##### Kim W. Jul 8, 2024 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Wonderful family vacation and celebration 14 of us, four generations, spent a fabulous week celebrating our 60th anniversary. Started off a bit rocky when one unit’s AC died, but our host Mike managed to get it repaired within a couple of days. Family members spent the week, swimming with turtles, fishing, golfing, paddle boarding, playing volleyball, pétanque, corn hole toss and rummikub. A monk seal spent a rare couple days on our beach along with a giant turtle. We spent every morning and most dinners together, on site, enjoying the beautiful sunsets. Mike was a wonderful host, with a wealth of knowledge. He even surprised us with stick donuts one day. The private beach made for amazing sunrises and sunsets and the kids had plenty of fun playing volleyball and swimming! It’s close to Kamaole beaches and a many restaurants! Try Pizza Madness! It’s a quick walk across the Main Road. This is going to be our family vacation home for years to come! Thank you Mike and Family for an amazing visit in Maui!
