We are located at Sugar Beach Resort, which is steps away from the white sandy beach, and incredible ocean access. As you relax on the private lanai, watch the Kihei Canoe Club glide by, experience the amazing humpback whales enjoying the warm seasonal waters. Our upgraded condo is tastefully and comfortably furnished. Some of the features include central air conditioning, wood floors throughout, a 55” Flat Screen Smart TV with DVD player, and provide free Wi-Fi. The modern gourmet equipped kitchen, features granite counter tops, shaker style cabinets, stainless steel appliances, stylish kitchen island with seating for two. For more intimate dining, we feature a beautiful dining area with glass top table. This unit sleeps 2, with a king-sized bed in the master bedroom, and a queen size sofa sleeper in the living room. The unit also includes a front load washer and dryer for your convenience. The complex consists of two six-story buildings, each with two elevators, covered free parking, an activity center, sandwich shop and bar. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with a large pool, Jacuzzi, putting green, gas barbeque grills, without a resort fee! Sugar Beach Resort is centrally located, just minutes away from many of Maui’s world-famous beaches, renowned golf courses, Maalaea Harbor, and Maui Ocean Aquarium. Create a lifetime of memories as you enjoy paradise and mahalo for considering our home. When we check in late, we found the unit had not been cleaned. So we cleaned it and made the bed. (The owner did refund the cleaning fee.). The hot water was spradic, so not all showers were hot. The unit locked us out prior to checkout time, but she was able to give us anew code so we could retrieve our luggage. It was fine, but not a relaxing vacation condo. ##### michael l. The check-in process was smooth, but once we got inside, we noticed the floors were extremely dirty—after just five minutes of walking around, our socks were covered in grime. The AC wasn’t strong enough to cool the bedroom, making it uncomfortably warm at night. The Wi-Fi and cable kept cutting out, which wasn’t a huge issue since we were out most of the time, but still worth mentioning.On the bright side, the view from the balcony was absolutely stunning, and the location couldn’t be better—right on the beach. They also provide chairs and snorkel gear, which was a nice touch. I genuinely hoped to leave a higher rating, but the cleanliness and comfort issues made that difficult. ##### Beth S. I was visiting with my partner and I had never stayed in Kihei before. I was pleasantly surprised. The property is well appointed and has everything you need. It is clean and the check in process is convenient. Now to what makes this property special in my opinion. The beach. I can’t figure it out but the beach the property has access to is SO quiet. My partner and I would walk on the beach and there would be no more than 20 people on the 2 mile stretch. If you want a nice quiet place away from the crowds, I highly recommend this property. Centrally located to all the things we wanted to do. Walk out to the beach. Many extra amenities for the beach provided. The condo has a great view of the ocean, pool and hot tub. The condo has everything one would need, coffee pot, Keurig, air fryer, blender and tea kettle. There are boogie boards, snorkels, sand chairs and a wagon to take to the beach. Lisa is fantastic. She replies to messages quickly and seems very easy-going. Lisa was very responsive to my questions and is a perfect host. The condo is clean, quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. It comes well stocked with kitchen needs, especially a blender and air fryer. There is a washer and dryer. It really is only steps away from the beach and Lisa provides everything you need for a beach day, towels, chairs, snorkel equipment, boogie boards, and even a wagon to haul it all. Toaster was not clean but everything else was very nice. Appliances were very nice.Great water pressure and hot water. No problems parking. Danas sandwich shop handy with good food. Service was hit and miss. Don't be in a hurry. We left a rubber shower mat to make standing on the rock base shower more comfortable.
