Overall OK but has poros and cons
The hotel is big with, the room is OK as well as the Internet, but the hotel plan is bizarre and you may have to go up and down a lot to get to your room (no lifts). Breakfast is OK with few changes everyday. However, my safe box was closed on my arirval.I called recpetion twice to help me and nobody came. I gave up. Good ponit is a free airport shuttle. and it has a nice swming pool. I could return but it would not be my first option. It is well lcalted close to the airport.

Great service; proper airport pick up, efficient check in and quick breakfast delivery. Hotel is quite old fashioned, but rooms are spacious, king size bed, and offer balcony. Would recommend to anyone arriving for quarantine.

quick stop but worth it
Staff was delightful. The room was very nice but AC could have been better as it didn’t get the room much below 22 and kept shutting off ? I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay in returned to city.

the windows in the room on the 2nd floor was not able to lock. The toilets drainage was clogged most of the time so the toilet is perpetually wet once you have shower. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful and very clean. The breakfast choices out to be improved. Good coffee at breakfast.

The stay was good generally. but I got an emergency and I had to leave on 12 instead of 13th when I noted the emergency I reported the night before and requested that they use the night I will not use to offset $79 I had spent in the room. they said ok, but on Friday 12th when the time to leave arrived they insisted I pay the $79. So I have one unspent night and I still paid additional money. I felt on that part the hotel was not honest. they would have told me the night before so that I cancel online but they cunningly accepted only to renege when I had little time to discuss further. So they should not be paid for the extra night

Very comfortable, good wifi, and nice bathroom and shower. Those things are important! The only downside was that there were steps everywhere....

Worst hotel experience of my life
My stay was terrible. The hotel had given away my room. They sent me to a 0 star hotel the first night, a little better hotel on the second and finalky got my room for night 3 but did not sleep in it as I was travelling same night. The lemigo itself looked ok but not 4 stars

Arrived at 2am and my room had been given away although booked and paid for well in advance (5 other travelers on the same flight had the same experience). We waited until 6am to get rooms. One night there was no water; WiFi did not work more often than it worked. Hotel is directly across from conference center so location is a plus and staff were very nice. But there were definitely hiccups in service and the lack of a room was not compensated in any way.

The hotel is great but the do not light the stairs and hallways with enough light and the resturant is had to find in the semi darkness and there are many changes in level form the elevatior to the resturant. If you have trouble walking or trouble seeing this is not the hotel for you. The food in the resturant is good and cheap.

Great staff, but poor quality rooms
Although the staff and service were great, the rooms are quite shabby, with poor lighting and i am fairly certain that during my first night I got bed bugs. My room was quickly switched, but the bites stayed with me for a long while after. Similarly, the breakfast staff were incredible, but the buffet was pretty average with a very dark display.

Convenient Location to Kigali Convention Center
As I was attending a conference at the Kigali Convention Center, the location of the Lemigo was perfect and a quick walk away. The Lemigo, while a bit dated in its decor, was perfectly comfortable, with an incredible staff. The pool is lovely and the grounds are well kept. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast and room service were all delicious. All in all, a wonderful stay!

An acceptable hotel in the Kigal goverment area
I stayed at the Lemigo hotel as I was attending a seminar there. The hotel is located in the government office district and hosts quite a lot of seminars and meetings. The current rooms are rather run down and the hotel is of an unusual design with a strange layout, lots of steps and no elevators, which can be a problem if you have lots of baggage, through the staff are always happy to help with your bags if asked. The single restaurant has a limited menu, but does an acceptable buffet at each meal time. It does have a nice outdoor swimming pool and quite a good little gym and spa. The new rooms block is under construction and looks like it will be finished by the end of 2015.

Second time around at Lemigo
This is my second time at Lmigo Hotel in Kigali. Unfortunately, the dining room service in the evening has not improved since I last stayed here. Cooking times are slow; I was told 30 minutes for a pizza and it took 45 minutes at lunch time when I was in a hurry between appointments. Not good. Dinner time, everything was slow; service; food, everything. At breakfast I got exemplary service from Eugene, I felt like he was my personal waiter! He really looked after me. Thank you! There was also good internet connectivcity in the room, so that's good, too.

Staff is friendly and nice. It felt safe because you have to pass through a metal detector and x-ray scan your luggage to enter the lobby....? The per day rate was way to expensive for what you get. I entered my room to see staff hanging around inside the room watching television. Their feet were on the bed and the desk as they were presumably hiding from management. The room needed to be renovated and it had a permanent bad smell from the bathroom drains. The food in the restaurant was good.

Comfortable, but a little steep price
This was just a short stay after arriving late at the airport. The room was fine, quite big and with a comfy bed. Bottled water is provided free of charge. There was a misunderstanding about the reservation so they have charged me twice. The issue will probably be resolved, but it shouldn't happen. The staff were very service minded in general. The room is a little pricey, but still ok.

This hotel is great for business travellers. It is a popular place for the rising Rwandese business class to meet and stay. Established service clubs, business organizations and government departments use the hotel for their conferences. There are also western leisure tourists at the hotel. Having said that I was welcomed without prejudice as a backpacker and enjoyed the service, food, and facilities. The gymn is reasonably well equipped for a hotel gymn and the pool is large enough to swim laps if you swim diagonally. Recommended if you want to pamper yourself a little bit but cannot afford an expensive hotel. Fair rates for the facility. Food was good to very good. Could use some inspiration. I would look for more vegetarian options. The hotel management was friendly, helpful, and flexible. Staff were friendly and helpful.
