This 2-story, 2-bedroom townhouse comfortably accommodates up to 4 adults and 2 children. Bathed in warm colors and ample sunlight, appointed with original artwork, and topped off with the latest technology, the villa’s 2 master bedrooms, reading nook, and living areas show off both personality and class. In the morning, enjoy the ocean view from the warmth of your plush custom-built king-sized bed. During the day, let your toes sink into the handwoven wool rugs that punctuate the property, and take advantage of the kitchen, complete with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. In the evening, linger over the ocean view from the living room deck before settling into the finely-styled living room for a conversation about the day’s events or to watch your favorite movie on the large flat panel television. Both master bedrooms have memory-foam mattresses, Egyptian-cotton sheets, down-alternative pillows, and large flat panel smart televisions. Twin airbeds are also available – we find these to be more comfortable, easier to manage, and more versatile than sleeper sofas. Enjoy time in the private reading nook tucked in the upstairs master bedroom, which has stunning landscape/ocean views. Don’t be surprised to find yourself spending hours here, book and glass of wine in hand. Both master bedrooms have connecting bathrooms. Upstairs, a double vanity, oversized tub, and separate shower offer ample room to prep for a night out on the town, and the downstairs bathroom has a tub/shower combination. About Kiawah's East Beach Located just 30 minutes from historic downtown Charleston on Kiawah’s East Beach, this vacation property is ideally situated. The beach is unsurprisingly a favorite destination – and from here, it’s literally steps to the Atlantic Ocean. A cooler and beach towels are conveniently available in Tidewater. All you have to do is have a good time! Beyond the beach, put on some walking shoes and check out the nearby shops and restaurants. Several miles of bike trail also wind throughout the island; rent a bike and get peddling! If you need more space or your preferred dates are unavailable, consider staying in the 3-bedroom Penthouse, located one floor up in the same building or the 1-bedroom Escape, located in the adjacent oceanfront building. It’s a short walk to the beach with the boardwalk to the beach very close by. The week we were there it was low tide during the day, and the beach was SO wide. Its location was wonderful with a fabulous view of the beach and ocean. The owners arrived to greet us soon after our arrival and responded very quickly to our one request for help. The resort's proximity to Charleston is an added bonus and we were also able to find and play golf on several nearby courses. The condo was nice and well stocked This condo had a nice view but only from upper bedroom. It was well appointed although the king beds were in rooms very tight for the space. The 1st floor room has poor lighting and the beds were too soft , but ok. I do not feel the property is a value at the price compared to other properties we have rented on Kiawah over the past 20 years. I prefer the less populated areas of the beach, hower this would be good for individuals who have access to the Night heron pool and play grounds. ##### Pf P. Dec 22, 2017 #### Just what the Dr. ordered This home was perfect and met our expectations with ease. The home was nicely furnished with modern furnishings. The kitchen had everything you could possible need for eating at home including some spices and oils. They had more than enough towels and linens and the beach towels was an added plus. The beach was beautiful and clean with an easy walking distance to the Sanctuary and the small convenient store. If you are a golfer the island doesn't fall short on golf courses (7 I think). And the washer and dryer came in very handy. I would recommend this location for a romantic get away or 2 couples or a small family. Apr 10, 2016 #### Spring Breakers from Kentucky The villa lived up to our expectations and them some. It was easy getting onto the island with our printed guest pass, and was a beautiful, scenic drive to the villa. We couldn't believe how quite it was all over the island! The villa was located on the 3rd floor and we never once had to wait for the elevator. As soon as we walked into the villa, we were met with a pleasant fragrance, lights on, peaceful music playing and just a very inviting atmosphere. The size of the villa was perfect for our party of 6, which included 3 children. What was most helpful was that the kitchen was stocked with all the essentials, so you don't have to buy all those extra things that you only need for the stay - salt and pepper, sugar, dish soap, paper towels, etc. Everything was very neat and labeled really well. The decorations were beautiful and felt unique to the space. And the beds...they were so plush and comfortable, from the sheets to the pillows and duvet. There were also toys, games and DVD's supplied, which was nice for the kids. We found the Freshfields village pretty quickly and dined there 2 nights out of the week, as well as picked up groceries. The drive was only about 5-10 mins from the villa. We never used the Night Heron park pool, but it was very close, and we were told that it was heated. We did take the kids to the Night Heron park and nature center, which was only about a 10 min walk from the villa. We drove to Charleston one day, and the only traffic we experienced was on our drive back around 4 pm, but it moved fairly quickly. Overall the villa was immaculate, well maintained and organized and very homey. We were pleasantly surprised with how quiet it was all over the island. One thing to note, bring bikes if you can! It was too hard for us to get the entire family a bike to ride, considering our 4 year old can't ride a bike yet, but we would have loved to take advantage of all the lovely bike paths. So, if you're looking for a peaceful destination with beautiful surroundings, Kiawah Island and the Mariah are perfect for you!
