Kgari is a beautiful paradise
Overall it is a beautiful place to stay, however just a couple of points for future reference for the owners (wish there was a way to personally email this, rather than the Web), but there isn't so. We'd just suggest that cleaners check and clean windows and fly screen areas to remove the number of bugs etc, plus perhaps fix some as you can't leave some windows open. Next sadly the washing machine lint catches had never been cleaned in ages. We had to clean them all out and do a drum clean before washing. Unfortunately there is inadequate parking for yourself and or perhaps guests. Many times you were never able to park in your designated area and signage for guest was not enough. For a 6 night stay perhaps more than 3 rubbish bags be left and soap dispensers or shower dispensers be topped up, saving guest to purchase more. The owners were very quick to respond to any request before we arrived and were very supportive. The villa had everything you needed for a stay.

Lovely Stay!
Our accommodation was amazing, very clean and well maintained. We had a little bit of confusion initially about where our 3yr old would sleep but once we found the portacot that was fine. We couldnt utilise the bbq unfortunately though as it had no gas! Our welcome basket was a beautiful touch, we loved it. Thankyou

HI Kimberley, we are glad that you enjoyed your stay. Based on your feedback I will amend our listing to state that the portacot is stored in the masterbedroom cupboard. We are sorry to hear that there was no gas for the bbq as that was an oversight and we would have had some delivered to you had we realised.

Magic place.
The house was the perfect place to come back to after exploring the beautiful island. The artwork in the home inspired more destinations on the island and the place had everything we needed. Rest to have enough lounge space for the whole family in comfort. Really loved our time here and are looking to rebook in the very near future. Could have easily spent another week here.

Incredible family home
This property was perfect for what we needed! The kids loved having a spa bath at night and us parents also enjoyed it while watching the sunset on the balcony. The coffee machine was brilliant, having a dishwasher was also great and the gift on arrival was so thoughtful! We also brought out slow cooker with us and arriving home from a big day out exploring to a cooked meal was the best. Huge thanks to the owners for making it such a smooth booking process.

A Fantastic Base From Which To Explore K'gari
Spacious, comfortable and well appointed. Generous hosts (left us a welcoming gift and offered an early check-in due to the weather) who communicated well. An easy walk to the resort and all of its attractions, including the jetty which offered hours of fishing fun. A fantastic base from which to explore the island. We will happily return.

The hosts were amazing. Answered any silly questions we had. The unit was lovely. The only disappointing part was the smart TV connected to my hotspot on the first night but from there on it would not pick up my phone.

Paradise in Eden
3 50+ ladies travelling from Melbourne to Yeppoon in a caravan decided to ditch the van and head over to to Fraser Island to see what all the hype was about. We found Melanie and Adam villa easily online and booked it based on the price, suitability to fit us in comfortably and the photos. We contacted Melanie before we left to ask details of the villa and Island and she was very knowledgeable of everything that we needed to know which gave us confidence that we could do this. When we arrived at the villa by following her detailed instructions we were knocked over by the size and beauty of the place. Honestly the photos don't do it justice, this villa is sublime. The recommendations Melanie gave us for meals cocktails and sunset did not disappointment either. We have never been so impressed with a place and or host as we were with Melanie and Adam. Superhost is an understatement. If you are considering a stay on Fraser Island i highly recommend this villa over the resort any day. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Happy Travels. 💼

Great Stay for 4wd trip to Fraser
Great property for first stay with family on Fraser Island. Property was clean and well appointed. Kids (11,13 and 16) loved the aircon and spa on balcony. Great central location at Kingfisher Bay Resort just a 5 minute walk from Pool and Restaurants/Bistro, jetty. Always ample car parking close to property.

Our stay at Kingfisher Bay Resort Villa (with a view of the ocean)
Great. We had a marvellous time at the Villa (included a Ziggy BBQ and an outdoor spa bath). It was a short walk to the store, reception and resort, restaurants and pools/spa area. Tour guides and Rangers were amazing with their attitude, information and attention to detail. The beach was awesome to walk along and swim in. We did a private tour to Central Station and Lake Mackenzie, a West Coast tour where we saw a dugong up close, whales and turtles and swim on a beautiful, small tropical island in the middle of the Great Sandy Straight called Pelican Island. Meals at the Restaurant was 5 star and the staff exceptional with speed and service. Our Bush Tucker taste session was first class and had the best information regarding many Australian bush tucker sensations which were also used in the Chefs restaurants. We had transit busses to our villa if we didn't want to walk. All needs were looked after All in all we couldn't fault our time spent here.

Fraser Island Villa
The villa was exactly what was advertised. Clean, beautiful setting, fully equipped whether it was for a group of friends, a couple or small family, everything that was needed was supplied. We had a little difficulty with the front door code to enter, which clearer instructions may have helped, but apart from that little hiccup, it was heaven on a heaven island!! Will definitely book again and highly recommend the villa to anyone wanting a home away from home.
