But, the AC was not working when we arrived and had to wait until the following day to have it repaired. The maintenance crew installed a portable AC until the main unit could be repaired. But, the portable unit was very loud and made it hard to get any rest. Also, the upstairs tenant came in late at night and we could hear every footstep they took as the floors must not be insulated very well to block sound. We would probably use this place in the future, but will definitely be asking for a partial refung for the inconvenence of it all. ##### Neal T. Papa’s Hideaway lives up to its name. It is a Hideaway. Behind the gate you find a lush garden with a dipping pool, just enough to cool off while you sip your rum drink! #4 is small but has all the essentials! Comfy bed, kitchenette, private patio all on a quite street only a short walk to Duval Street. My only suggestion for upgrades would be the bathroom needs a little TLC. Behind Duval Street and right around the corner from the Southernmost point, you can walk to pretty much anything from this location. The private pool area was a great little oasis, and the room itself was very comfortable and quiet.
