NATURE'S EDGE is a well maintained condo that is located at 1800 Atlantic Blvd on the beach, just steps from the ocean and sand in your toes. You'll enjoy peace and quiet on your balcony, with the Key West Nature Preserve just outside your door. NATURE'S EDGE is located in an upscale private community within walking or biking distance to all of your favorite Key West spots, including beaches, restaurants, shopping, and the beautiful waters surrounding the island. THE LIVING AREA... The living room of NATURE'S EDGE is comfortably furnished, with plenty of light streaming in from the floor-to-ceiling glass doors. There's a very large flat screen TV. The living room sofa pulls out into a Queen sized sleeper for extra guests in a pinch. The dining table will seat six comfortably. You can also take your meal out onto the balcony on your dining set in the treetops. THE POOL, THE BEACH & TENNIS... 1800 Atlantic offers Resort-style amenities, including an extra large Community Pool right downstairs. There are chaise lounges surrounding the pool for your comfort, and a cabana with restrooms for your convenience. Please note this is a shared pool with set rules, such as no music and no coolers. We ask that our guests be mindful of their neighbors and respect the rules. From the pool, there's a walking path that leads to the on-site beach. The on-site beach offers a relaxing setting, with chaise lounges and soft sand. There is no direct water access from this beach, but Smathers Beach, Key West's largest public beach, is located within walking distance right next door. There is also an oversized Jacuzzi and a picnic area with BBQs available for guest use. You'll also have access to the newly built fitness center and Key West's only clay tennis courts, both located on-site. It’s in an old and outdated building. The location is not great - wish we stayed in Old Town but we wanted to be close to the beach. Beach was the worse I’ve seen. Stayed for 5 minutes and left. Condo was spacious and bright. Master bath had almost black grout on the shower floor - it was so dirty. Really grossed me out. Who doesn’t clean grout, let alone grout that used to be white? Found a couple dirty dishes so housekeeping could be improved. Overall - it was an okay stay but would not recommend this unit or return. ##### Cori R. It was a great base of operations for Key West trips. The condo was clean, roomy, and well equipped for our family to put together our own breakfasts and lunches to save a little money on eating out for every meal. The complex amenities were great, and the view of the nature preserve was quiet and peaceful (except for the occasional wandering rooster crowing!) The ocean was also visible from the balcony. Ubers were readily available to get us to places we wanted to visit. Our contact Brian was very friendly and attentive to any questions we had. We had plenty of room for our family of 4\. The kitchen is well stocked. I appreciated the provided coffee and coffee filters. The parking spot is covered so no getting into a blazing hot car.
