Come and experience living the FLORIDA KEYS dream. As seen on the TV show “ My Floating Home”. This charming tiny floating houseboat is one of a kind! With 360 views of the beautiful scenery of the crystal blue waters of Key West. You will experience the most unique romantic sunsets or sunrise. Also enjoy a refreshing swim and sun bath off the deck and don’t forget your snorkel equipment and enjoy a great snorkel right off the boat. We also allow fishing just don’t filet the fish on board. There is a great restaurant which will cook your catch within paddling distance. This will be an unforgettable experience which you will never forget. This is similar to camping, we call it “Glamping” so PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE ADD BEFORE BOOKING. We provide you with a ride to the boat in the evening to drop off and a ride for pick up in the morning. No nighttime checkins. Pick up and drop off times are flexiable. The shuttle ride is about 10-15 mins each way. The tiny floating home is equipped with solar system to provide lights in the evening, along with fresh water sinks/ showers. There are USB ports to provide enough power to charge your phones. There is an outdoor shower only but the home is moored off shore completely private and away from other boats. There is not a kitchen for cooking but a cooler is provided for drinks and snacks, please bring ice. We provide all towels, sheets, linens, ect. There is a marine toilet onboard, but and NO TOLIET PAPER IS TO BE PUT INTO IT so you must throw all waste into the trash can provided. There is not AC onboard but there are fans, and the windows open which provide a pleasant breeze at night so a AC is not needed. There are not bugs where the boat is located. If you want a charming unique romantic experience that will be unforgettable. In regards to service animals, please communicate prior so we can discuss if the listing is safe enough for your service animal If you do not communicate with us by 4pm with your arrival time so we can schedule your checkin you will be considered a no call no show and a refund will not be provided. Late checkins are fine but MUST be communicated. We are also not responsible for weather conditions during hurricane seasons which are months of June- November refunds will be based on severity of the storms. We will be more than happy to honor any reservations at anytime of the year if the guest does not feel comfortable regarding weather conditions. We highly recommend to rent Kayaks. Please contact Troy from Kayak Kings of Key West. We DO NOT run a water taxi. If you are planning on spending more than one night the best way to come back and forth from the boat is via Kayak. This is in paddling distance of the boat. Very close to the boat are some of the best kayaking trails in Key West. Please feel reach out to ask any questions, this a very unique listing. Matt was amazing to work with for arrival and departure. Timely and exactly as Liam said everything would be. They put special touches on the stay, ice bucket, two waters, beach towels, our name on a cute sign, a cooler, extra covers and everything you need for a Glamping stay on the water! Camping at its best! We definitely plan to come back and will recommend this stay to our friends. This was such a beautiful experience to have shared with just myself. The bed was comfortable and I slept really well both nights. The second night, I had to rent a kayak from the marina (40) to get to the house. It was a beautiful sunset paddle. It’s easy enough, but even as an experienced paddler, it’s about 20 minutes . I had to leave around 5am to catch my flight and paddled back to the marina in pitch black. It was cool to see the fish jumping and the cranes wading around. I highly recommend this place, just make sure you know what you’re getting into. It’s off grid, no refrigerator. But there’s running water and a toilet that’s easy enough to figure out. 10/10\. ##### Alyse A. Multiple calls to the owner and Expedia/VRBO resulted in the owner's father coming over 5 hours later, trying to fix the toilet, providing toilet paper, and filling the water tank. He worked on fixing things for several hours. I left early the next day and, after multiple calls to VRBO, got a full refund.
