They have a liquor store bar that has live music every night on Thursday through Sunday generally goes till 2am. We loved it but it gets quite noisy. During my stay, I couldn't sleep due to the surrounding noise. Rick was able to switch me to a quieter suite. He also provided my mom an extra comforter so that she could sleep well at night. The place is clean and has stove, washer and dryer. The location is great and close to beach, and a block away from the Southernmost point. My family stayed there for 4 days and had great time. Nice to have the kitchenette, although we didn't use it except for a second sink and counter for personal needs. A 30 minute walk or 5 Uber to Mallory Square. A block and a half from a small beach and an easy walk to Higgs Beach. The room was very clean except when I went to find the outlet behind the bed which is where the dust bunnies were hiding. I'm sure the host would have had it swept if we mentioned it, but it was hidden and we didn't bother. The biggest unexpected was that it directly across from a bar that had live music on it's porch every night until about midnight...that could be a plus or a minus depending on how you look at it! The host was very responsive and had drivers and cars to take you anywhere you wanted to go at no additional charge. Took it back and forth to the airport; we tipped well but still less than an Uber or taxi. I would stay there again. ##### Jesse S. Reviewer Comments: This unit is wonderfully convenient to the beaches, southernmost attractions and Duval Street. Yummy breakfast and lunch options within walking distance and ice cream across the street. The little liquor store across the street always has live entertainment to enjoy so just be prepared for late night performers. Perhaps what stands out most about the Egret is the entire Colocada team. Rick, Zoe, and Jeffrey (as well as others) were responsive to whatever we needed. They also offered a shuttle to and from the airport a short drive away. We rented a car we ended up not needing. Parking was limited so they let us park at the property mgmt office on sSeaside with an offer to run us to it at nearly a moment’s notice. Free onsite laundry was nice and the hot tub was a treat. The only suggestions we have are to add another mirror in the unit (one wasn’t enough for three women sharing the space) and install a locking hook on the closet doors to keep them closed. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice place in a good spot. Had live music across the street. Convinience store and Cuban cafe next door was nice. Room was clean and cool( it was a hot weekend). The rental was cozy and comfortable. We also enjoyed the liquor store/bar across the street we would sit on the porch and listen to the music. Aug 19, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy We had a wonderful stay at this VRBO—it was just what we needed for our three nights in Key West. The suite was well-equipped with a stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, blender, and toaster, which made our stay both practical and welcoming. The location was excellent—very close to Duval Street, so we were able to walk around town with ease. It’s also just about a block away from the Butterfly Conservatory and the famous “90 Miles to Cuba” marker.Parking in Key West can be a challenge, but the rental company allowed us to park at their office, which was very safe and convenient. The suite is across from a liquor store/bar where music plays, and we enjoyed listening from the front porch. For light sleepers, I’d recommend earplugs as they were a lifesaver for me.Overall, the host was very helpful, and we truly enjoyed our time here. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and centrally located stay in Key West. ##### Lisbet H.
