This home is located in the private community of Key Cove Landings, on an exclusive lane of waterfront residential homes. The perks of this little-known location are many: walking distance to the essentials such a Publix grocery store and the largest shopping center on the island, while still being tucked away in your own quiet neighborhood. This home includes plenty of off-street parking in the private garages, as well as on the driveways in front of the house. Key Feature: 3 en'suite bedrooms This home’s highlight is the wall of floor-to-ceiling windows facing the water to provide the optimal view from every part of the house. The large open plan living room has a spacious seating area with plush couches around a large HD flat screen Smart TV. One of the couches also pulls out to a Queen-sized sleeper sofa for additional guests. There is a dining table with seating for up to 6 diners, with additional seating for 4 at the kitchen bar. The master bedroom has a King-sized bed, a large flat-screen HD TV, and an en-suite bathroom complete with a glass shower, large Jacuzzi tub and separate room for the facilities. The master bedroom also has a wall of floor-to-ceiling glass doors opening out to your waterfront balcony. The second bedroom has a King-sized bed, a flat-screen HD TV, large walk-in closet, and a glass sliding door with access to the waterfront balcony. The bathroom is en-suite. The third bedroom is also on the 2nd floor with a Queen bed, flat screen TV, balcony access and en-suite bathroom. On the main floor there is a fourth bedroom with trundle bed. There is a half bath down the hall. Out back is one of the highlights of this home: the covered lanai and pool area. The covered outdoor dining area comfortably seats six for a poolside meal. The pool is heavenly, with views of the open water and visiting heron on the tropical greenery that surrounds the back yard. There is also a pool lounge area with comfortable chaises in a piece of deck that gets equal sunshine and shade. The backyard is complete with a large propane grill for a poolside BBQ. B., Massachusetts 31 mars 2024 Points forts : Propreté #### Three-generation family getaway in mid-March This is a nice home located nestled between a resort and a Home Depot/Walgreens parking lot. There’s good separation from the commercial parking lots, and you won’t notice noise or light through the strategic walls and plantings. We appreciated that the TVs had streaming services, and that beach towels were available. We also liked having access to cold water and ice through the fridge. While we generally love rentals that don’t keep lots of personal items cluttering the space, we would have loved a few basic items like liquid hand soap, salt and pepper, and more toilet paper and paper towels. (We were eight people staying for a week.) Fortunately, it was easy to get these items at Walgreens. The photo now labeled “Outdoor Wet Bar” is exactly that. It’s beside the pool and has no access to the interior of the house. We’d planned to use it as a secondary kitchenette for guests with food allergies, but that wasn’t a possibility. A fine place to keep some extra drinks, though. The pool was a good temperature and a hit with the kids! We had a nice time but would probably choose a hotel or multiple smaller rentals if returning with this same multi-generational group. I think this particular layout might work nicely for one family with several kids, or perhaps for adult friends on a getaway. ##### J.H. B. It was close enough to bike into Old Town but away from the crowds and noise that can accompany that. House was clean and comfy. Garage can hold 2 cars and drive can accommodate 2 cars as well. Private pool and yard were lovely. Some reviews remarked on the lack of sun in the yard which is true, it faces north, but the pool was warm and we had no issue with that. The only improvement I might suggest is a privacy screen on the right side of the porch to block the neighboring house, but most people probably wouldn’t be bothered by that. The view is so captivating that you don’t spend much time looking at the neighbors. Really, to have that view and overall privacy was a dream! Highly recommend this rental. ##### Lynda G. The home was huge and spacious. There is so much to do at the house and in Key West. Our house had four bedrooms, and it was more than enough for our family. We really enjoyed having a pool. The only thing is it’s very shady so you won’t get a suntan unless you pull some chairs out the front of the home. Also, there is no heat in the home so be careful if you are coming during the winter months.. It only affected us because of the arctic blast we had at the end of 2022\. Some of the homes do have heat and some of them don’t. But it’s not a problem for majority of the time in Key West. Javier and Doug were amazing to deal with and we really appreciate it then going the extra mile for us. We needed to stay a little longer the last day, and they let us do that which was very kind. The home is right on the water and the neighborhood is adorable! We easily rented mopeds and had a ball! The house itself had everything that we needed and they thought of everything we would need in advance. We will come back again, and certainly stay with you! Thanks for a great trip!!! ##### Missy S. Porches were really nice views. Could use more comfy porch furniture. Close to town. Shopping close. Floors were dirty like they just mop with dirty water. Be careful getting out of shower floors very slippery, no bath mats and not enough towels. The pool area got no sun. Maybe in the summer months it would. Kitchen was large and had a wine cooler and ice maker. Some dishes chipped. Loved the laundry machine they even provided some laundry soap and dryer sheets.
