A beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bath ground level condo located in the gated Shipyard Condominium area of the prestigious Truman Annex community. Parking Details: \- One parking space per unit, no guest parking. \- No vehicle over 18’ long or 80” wide allowed. \- No large trucks, trailers, mobile homes, vans, campers or similar vehicles shall be parked in the Truman Annex. \- Motorcycles and scooters must be parked in the parking lot and not on sidewalks or porches. \- All vehicles parked within the community must either have a permanent parking sticker or a temporary parking pass (obtained at the Security Guardhouse). \- All others will be subject to ticketing and towing. \--- The room configuration is as follows: Primary Bedroom / Queen bed w/ ensuite Bedroom 2 / Two twin beds Sleeper sofa \--- This is a smoke-free property. Check in directions were easy to follow; there were no contact procedures due to COVID and our keys were left for us in a locked box. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels, blankets, and pillows. The complex is quiet, and we had an assigned parking spot. We enjoyed using the pool and meeting some of our neighbors. We had plenty of space except for my giant suitcase (I always overpack) had to be placed in the living room floor. This property is well-taken care of and we highly recommend it. It is located in Old Town section of Key West and we were able to walk to Duval Street and lots of restuarants, shops, and museums. We arrived after dark, picked up our keys at the office in the lock box. When we arrived at the condo there was a gate to get in . There was no gate code on my literature to get into the complex. I had to call the emergency number to get the code to get in. The next morning I was reading literature that was in the condo about parking passes for the cars it advised me Togo to a Front st. Address/ bldg 21 to get a parking pass. This literature was from 2013\. I went to the Address and inquired about the need for a parking pass and they had no idea what I was talking about. I did speak with someone there and they advised me that I needed just to go to the guard shack and request one. After that was all taken care we did enjoy our stay. For the complex size I felt the pool was a little small. Lots of people using the pool. Not a lot of lounge chairs available. I could hear "long term residents/owners" complaining of tourists. We didn't spend a lot of time in the pool. Was a 15 minute walk to Ft Zachary. And probably 15 minute walk to Mallory Square and Duval "action". Loved the washer/dryer. There was Hand, dish & laundry soap, dryer sheets, etc. available - Loved that. The condo seemed clean but floor seemed "dirty" (as you walked around feet and socks got pretty dirty??).
