"We had a great time at the Island City House Hotel. We enjoyed the room. We liked the outside porch with sitting areas. The hotel was close enough to most areas of Key West that we were able to walk. It was quiet. The only complaint we had was the room had a mild musty smell. Also there is no elevator if you are on one of the upper floors. We would return when we go back to Key West"

"The house has a lot of potential but very dated. First two days AC was broke and the fan in the master bedroom had no pull chain. Too hot for no air flow. The master bed was so old it squeaked every time you moved. Also mattress was too firm. The positives were the property cat and the location."

"We were greeted by Stephen at the front desk, who was friendly & helpful. Check in was quick. Stephen offered us a complimentary cold beverage, carried our luggage to the room and offered a tour of the hotel. Our room was clean, and well decorated. Bed and pillows super comfy! The bartender at happy hour was great. Pool area and jacuzzi was lovely. Parking was easy. It sounds like from older reviews that The Eden House experienced some growing pains through renovations, however,...
