This community is very friendly and you will never run out of things to do. There are so many activities nearby and Key West is less than 1 hour away. The property was great, good kitchen, living room and bedrooms with very comfortable beds. The only disappointing thing in this home is that there was no basic seasonings to cook with, not even salt, pepper or cooking oils. Spoke with a supervisor to get the local rep to respond. Her name was Jenetta. Ac person came out Monday pm 8:30:pm. I told him I didn't think any of the 3 ac units were working.properly. Was able to only get 1 going-charged with freon. Was going to contact Vacasa for immediate repair the next day Had a dive planned Tues am. House seemed even warmer that morn. Came back it was 90 degrees in house. Calling/texting rep. again no response. Called main Vacasa to get response. Finallly rep texted round 7pm said service man coming out. Came out a t 10:30pm. Checked Units he said all 3 units were broken and could not be repaired. Tried contacting local rep. again no response. Wanted a answer on when they would be repaired. Waited for a call Wed. Decided to call late Wed. and finally got a response. Almost 3 full days without AC in Florida. We moved our things to another house. Local Rep Jenetta non-existent follow-up until My expectations are you rent a house a month in advance, hen you arrive things should be in good order. It was'nt just the AC. (most important part of staying in Florida) the patio umbrella ripped and broken,burnt out broken outdoor lights and too much to mention. I booked through VRBO and got VACASA. We had a lovely stay at this house! Beds were comfortable. The furniture was comfortable. Quiet neighborhood with lots to do including biking and kayaking down the canal to go around the point and watch the sunset (watch the tides and wind when you do this). It’s just a short walk from a little park where you can watch the sunset. And just a fun and relaxing vibe. The house has everything you need for a low maintenance, relaxing vacation. Apr 4, 2022 #### A beautiful oasis close to all Marathon has to offer! I have visited marathon for the last 15 years and this home was my favorite place to stay! The two large bathrooms and private baths were perfect for privacy between guests, the kitchen and living room were large and filled with light and the backyard was incredible. The sitting area is right on the lagoon, and the perfect spot for your morning coffee or yoga. The screened in porch was our favorite spot to cap out the evening - and never had one bug bite! Key colony is a beauitful community, where you can ride the bikes and explore (provided at the house!) or to explore some marathon cuisine and activities it’s a quick Uber ride downtown! Mar 29, 2022 #### Perfect Family Oasis This family gem at Colony Key was a perfect and relaxing beach get-away! Perfect get-away for me, the hubby, and kids. It felt like home with a clean and comfortable beach style home. The rooms are spacious, kitchen cute and equipped, AC nice and cold, great parking entrance and with a spacious garage. Everything was clean and bathrooms just right. We slept good and relaxed in the backyard. You get access to Cabana Club which is literally 2 min in car and you have a very clean pool and private beach access with very affordable yummy food and drinks. This place is very family friendly, like living in a private community and you ride the bike or go on walks at night. We went every night to Sunset Park with beautiful views and sunsets. Great spot for pictures. Thank you for the great memories. You will not regret staying here. Everything nearby from groceries to restaurants.
