We saw stingrays, manatee and even a shark in the canal. There were shady areas to enjoy even on the sunniest of days. (We brought our boat) We just wish we had longer! We needed a long overdue vacation and it was a wonderful place to reconnect and unwind, plenty of items to cook our meals and the freezer on the porch was perfect for bait.
