Barkbeth Farm
Very nice property with a pretty little sitting area to watch the sunset over the lake. Very clean, neat and well equipped kitchen. Check in and communication with Matt was very easy. Nice parking spot just outside the pretty garden. Would recommend highly. It’s a great location for exploring the northern lakes district and easy to get to Keswick. Very quiet and peaceful location. A nice touch was a bouquet of fresh roses upon our arrival.

Peaceful short stay
We used this cute little cottage as a stop off on the way to Scotland. Loved the views from the garden and having breakfast on the terrace while watching the sheep with their lambs. Close enough to Keswick for amenities but far enough away to be very peaceful and quiet.

Home in the Farm
A working farm - grew to love it all. Facility was well furnished. Matthew is definitely a worker. As a former farm owner in Virginia we recognize the work involved and admired the product. The directions (Turn at —-) could be clearer. Thank you for sharing your home.

Great stay!
We really enjoyed our stay, the house was really clean and as described. Perfect for a few nights away with our pup. The house has everything we needed and Matthew was friendly and helpful with questions. The property is in a great location, private enough but within a short drive of the centre of Keswick. Would definitely recommend.

Cottage on the farm
Small.Quirky little cottage. Low beams, uneven walls and floors. Needs some tlc. Loved the garden. Wifi very poor. A little out of the way. Quiet. Fine as a base. Village 25 minutes walk away. We had a lovely weekend with glorious weather. Owners next door, handy if you need to know anything.

Wonderful Cozy Farm Cottage
Wonderful and cozy. Modernized but with an old-world feel. The cottage is on a working farm and a bit off the main roads. However, google maps took us directly there. It is up a one-lane road and then a small paved track through the farm. We found it had everything we needed and was a fun location to use for exploring the lake district. I would recommend dinner at the Ravenstone Manor just a few miles down the road. Matthew was a great host. Communicated well and quickly responded. The cottage was very clean.
