Was a little disappointed there was no welcome pack/wine usually this is left & especially at Xmas time. We were 15 minutes late leaving at 10.15, the cleaner I’d say was quite rude didn’t want to speak to us & didn’t appear to be a very nice person so we felt it kind of put a bit of a dampner on our final day as we hurried out. Arriving early after a 200 mile plus journey during which my husband was taken ill, we asked politely if we may enter the property early. The assistant sitting opposite the door of the office was most unhelpful. We srated that we didnt want to unpack byt just to get my husband near a bathroom. We met a flat NO. We aporeciate the need to clean and the property was indeed spotless. It was just a shame tgat a 70 years plus person was forced to sit outside a supermarket fir over 2 hours to be near a bathroom. Lovely view. Clean comfortable and tastefully decorated property in a really good location both for fell walking and walking into town. We hardly used the car. Settees are getting a little uncomfortable but that is the only criticism. Beds great. Owners have thought of every thing to make the holiday easy - drying room, torches, hose at back door for muddy dogs and boots. Kitchen very good. Lovely bathrooms.
