« What a wonderful experience staying at the Borland House is! With the quaint, homey feeling of the whole house, to the kindness of the staff. Your stay will absolutely be lovely. Ample towels are provided for the private, spacious bathroom. Very comfortable bedding and well appointed decorations are in the bedroom. I was in the Hummingbird Suite. I could see myself living there, it just had everything I needed. I look forward to visiting again in the future! »

« Staff was super sweet. But there should be some sort of service to take you to your room/bring you up to the main lodge for dinner. Maybe a front desk person with a golf cart. Pretty dangerous to walk down that path alone at night in the dark after some drinks at dinner. Otherwise, very chic and comfortable. »

« The hotel is spread in different locations in older buildings. It can be a bit surprising that you have to roll your bags a couple of blocks after checking in. The area is very charming. The room was great and the bed comfy. The bathroom could do with a going over with brass polish. When all the fixtures are brass, it takes some upkeep. We slept in and missed breakfast, but there are many good restaurants and cafes in the area. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay. »
