"Relaxing stay"
Booking was straightforward, as was checking in. This time we were in one of the mews cottages, Quince Cottage. Our bedroom was comfortable, with tea making facilities, a fan (necessary because it was hot!) and a decent sized t.v. The bed was comfy. The bathroom was large with both a bath and a separate shower cubicle. We had bathrobes and slippers provided, a bottle of still and sparkling water replenished every day, and plenty of bath products of superior quality. Downstairs, we had a separate lounge area, plenty of reading books, a further, larger TV and a small kitchen area, with more tea making facilities and a fridge. UHT milk was provided, but we requested fresh milk which was delivered to our cottage promptly. We used both the indoor and outdoor pools, including the sauna, steam room and jaccuzi. The indoor pool is looking a little jaded now, and the ice machine wasn't working. The whole area, including the changing rooms and showers could do with a little TLC. They were fine, just a bit tired, tiles missing etc. The outdoor pool was good, with plenty of parasols, which were definitely needed whilst we were there. We spent most of our time sitting around the pool area and swimming in the pool which was a decent size. We had one meal in the bar, as we only wanted a sandwich, and the other two nights in the bistro restaurant, where the menu was more than adequate and the food was enjoyable. We WILL return.

"quiet location with lovely grounds"
Unfortunately our visit coincided with 3 weddings and a golf tournament, which had booked out the restaurant and meant we had a makeshift meal in the bar area and our room was the furthest from reception and front door meaning a long walk to and from the door to the car park. Also it was an unusually hot week and the aircon was ineffective and very noisy, cutting in and out all night so we had poor nights sleep. I checked the filters and they needed servicing badly, have they heard of Legionaires Disease?Have never sen such a difficult way to access the pool area, obviously an OH&S issue but seems overkill compared to other hotels. Overall a good hotel

"Convenient for Headcorn"
Check in was quick and efficient, clear instructions to locate our room and use of electronic key. We had breakfast relatively early 07.45. There was know one else in the restaurant. I started with cereal, unfortunately the upper bowl was full of 'hair' clips. As the scrambled egg was looking a bit stale my wife ordered a fresh poached egg. I continued and had a full breakfast. My wifes egg had not arrived and I had finished. We were told the egg was on its way, so my wife added the rest of her breakfast to her plate. My wife finished her breakfast with still no sign of the egg. We left the restaurant eggless.

"Hotel with character, close to the beach."
A leisurely and pleasant stay. The hotel is close to Port Lympne safari park, which is why we chose it. The bar, unfortunately, faces a building site.

"Good Value Budget B&B Accom. Close To Canterbury"
Have stayed here before & find it very useful for overnight stops either before or after a channel ferry/train crossing, if your travel logistics need such a stopover (Dover being a bit overpriced these days). On this visit, I was using Canterbury as a base for having an MOT done on my car, as I live & work in southern France some of the year. Basic student accom, but perfectly adequate - (single) bed, desk, wardrobe, chest of drawers, chairs, coffee/tea makings, sink, free wifi, good breakfasts. Efficient reception, slick check in & out, useful info leaflets/maps etc all available. Rooms are not en suite, but that's not a problem for me.

"Nice hotel close to the Botany Bay beach"
We enjoyed our two night stay at the Botany Bay. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the room was comfortable. We had booked bed and breakfast, and we ate in the bar on both evenings. The service and food was good. On the first evening some guests in an adjoining room were noisy but the hotel staff sorted it out after a complaint from another guest. The hotel is a short drive from Broadstairs, and hence away from the usual seaside bustle. The wifi worked well although you will have to agree to your email address being used by the hotel chain to advertise their services, and being passed on to affiliate companies. I have noticed an increase in spam since our stay...
