Dare to stay?

First of all the room I booked on Expedia was not the one I was given by the hotel. Expedia and the hotel are definitely not working together. Total misrepresentation on what I was expecting. The hotel carpet was disgusting to say the least. Our bathroom tub was moldy. The hotel parking lot is very busy, being used by locals as a through street. I was charged by the hotel by their rates, not Expedias which was a difference of close to 35$ a night. I was able to get this corrected but was an inconvenience. On a daily basis we had to ask for bath towels. We asked for a blanket the first night and didn't get one until 3 days later. The bathroom door made a very loud noise when opening and closing it. The bathtub had mold around the top of it...and the bottom of the bathtub felt like you were taking a shower in a ditch. The morning food was convenient but not very tasty. It's almost what I would expect on an airplane. They have two washers/two dryers for a 80 room hotel. They have no vending machines but do have a pantry where u can pay $2.75 for a 16 oz soda. The list goes on and on. The overall cleanliness of the hotel is horrible and would not recommend using Expedia for this hotel. Total misrepresentation of what I booked on line. I'm very disappointed with this hotel and room 128 and would recommend it to no one.

Nightmare

Posted 17-May-2016
Cons: The rooms should be inspected by Wyndham and Expedia and have mold abatement do clean-up
Location: Behind a Costco and Bowling Lanes
The room had a strong odor of mold coming from the AC unit. The linens, also, were permeated with the odor. The bathroom had mold. The floor in the bathroom had very obvious dirt on the tile (not just in the grout lines). After being unable to fall asleep due to the odor, we rose from the bed, packed, and went to another hotel. We have always toughed it out when things were uncomfortable during our travels. This was the only time we have ever felt the need to make such a speedy departure. The level of discomfort and uncleanliness we experienced was a new low in our travels.

This was one of the worse hotels we have ever stayed in. We walked in and there was water damage and mold in the hallway. Had to go ask for sheets and had no pillows. We stayed with a ball team. Many of the other familys had issues too such as faucets comming out of the wall. Sunken in flooring. Everyones carpet looked like a wave pool. Our keys wouldn't work half the time. When the cleaning crew came into to clean they only made beds and emptied trash. They did not clean ANYTHING. The toliet wasn't even flushed. The parking lot was used for a cut-thru to other places and was more like a freeway than a parking lot. For the money we spent to stay in a decent hotel it was more like a slum hotel. We could have stayed in a 4-5 star in Atlanta for cheaper

This is the second time my husband and I stayed at this hotel. No complaints whatsoever from either visit. Front desk staff is ALWAYS super friendly and welcoming! Conveniently located in the parking lot next to Brunswick Zone.

Far from Par

Posted 6-Apr-2016
Pros: Overall, it was 1 night. I got in later and only really needed the bed. It was far enough away from the road there was little to no noise.
Cons: Room furnishings, 2 coffees and some employee etiquette training. People shouldnt awake at 6AM to Aretha Franklin and Patty Labelle in lobby.
Location: The Brunswick fun center is across the parking lot. I had no time this trip. But, I think that is an adder esp for a family
I booked an upgraded king. First off, the "upgraded room" was a queen and didnt match the picture. I received the same as every other Wingate room I've been in. AC was off and room was hot when I got in. I turned it on and left for dinner. Fridge didnt work at all. Only 1 regular, 1 decaf coffee. To a regular traveler this is really something that stands out. Clock was 12 hours off. Rust stains running down tub from support handle. AND the desk/chair was missing! They had moved the coffee table across room and put desk lamp on it! REALLY! Adding, they may have been 40% full. Why put someone in a sub-par room? Or were the rest worse? When I woke up, the lady at the front desk was laughing so loud I could hear her joking in the lobby...Sounded like a scene from Sanford and Son.

Totally disgusted

Posted 6-Apr-2016 on Hotels
First there was trash up and down the halls...a opened bottle of water on the desk.. a tooth flosser and rubber bands on the end table... used soap and shampoo in the shower .. no bath towels... the door handle was loose and we had to get assistance to get back into the room...he stated that it happens all the time. .. the carpet was filthy on the halls and our room ...elevator had spilled drinks on floor .. I stayed at a Wyndham because of the name...Interstate was backed up and no other Hotels available.
