You need to book colony!!
Absolutely amazing stay at the Colony! We felt welcomed immediately, and our dog was welcomed with a thoughtful bag of goodies from the hotel. Rooms were super clean and the property was so pretty! Breakfast was great and the blueberry pancakes are fantastic. This is the hotel to book in Kennebunkport!

Definitely a family run operation and run down with a lot of potential. Needs to be renovated and staffed properly, including accessibility throughout property. Not easy for wheel chairs or strollers, and parking lot is very strange and narrow. Beautiful views of you get the right room, be careful what you book, you could wind up in a different building with no views that’s a considerable walk away from amenities.

This property has a great view of the sea, the pool is uniquely located seaside and a good size. The historical hotel may not have all the modern amenities of a newer abode but the charm definitely makes up for it!!

Pros: Very beautiful old hotel. Staff is super friendly and helpful! Great location and beautiful grounds! Cons: There was a wedding each night we were there and it took away from the hotel experience. Very antiquated.

Room was very small, bathroom the size of a mini closet with no room for toiletries. No TV in room, outlets for chargers were under a desk or under a bed. I had to go on my knees to plug my iPad and phone. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating.
