Inside, this home boasts all of the traditional charm you would expect including rustic hardwood floors throughout and clean white paint accents, yet you won't have to sacrifice any modern comforts like high-speed WiFi and high-end furnishings. When mealtimes come around, the updated kitchen has all of the bells and whistles needed to whip up your favorite recipes with ease including stainless steel appliances, a large island, a subway tile backsplash, and a coffee maker. Plus, the dining area is mere feet away in the same room, so the chef of the group can still be a part of the conversation. Head downstairs and you will find a quiet living area with access to the backyard. It was cute enough but we couldn’t get past the smell. Some couldn’t even be in the house. The main floor and basement were the worst. After looking around we found a bunch of mold in the basement garage area and that seemed to be the main source. The company, however, was great to work with and they relocated us after checking in to see if the house was in good clean condition upon arrival. They were able to find us somewhere to stay within a reasonable distance and we were able to move on with our vacation. They sent an email to me after saying they were closing the house to remedy the issue so hopefully it’s been taken care of. ##### Brit B. The home has everything you will need. Being from the western dry part of the country we don't know if all homes in the east have an unusual musty odor to them or it was just this home. The home is located on a very busy street with heavy vehicle use so if you are noise sensitive it is something to consider. The cleaning crew should spend a little more time and pay closer attention to details. We found potato chips on the kitchen floor, a hairpin on the family room floor, and a pair of socks between the sheets of 2 of the beds. Overall though we enjoyed our stay. ##### Jeff N. Likes: The house is bright and airy, with lovely décor, and is well-stocked with quality linens, kitchen ware, and beach gear. There's a decent deck and lovely grounds for outdoor games. The location is a short drive to town and groceries. There are nice beaches within a couple of miles, so walking/biking is an option, given that parking is at a premium. With 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths, it's very comfortable for a group. The parking at the house is ample. Could be better: The water pressure in the showers was dismally low throughout the house. For example, washing your hair in the basement shower was impossible b/c of the trickle of water. The lighting is very low and limited in the bedrooms and living room, so elders in our group had a hard time reading evenings and at night. The basement family room has a strange, uninviting odor, making it attractive for use. Despite these cons, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the house. ##### Helen S.
