"Lovely stay at the hotel. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The spa and pool, although small, is a great bonus. The pub, bar, larder and restaurant are nicely decorated. The fire place burning in the evenings is adding to the cosy atmosphere. The food is good. The hotel is also dog friendly. We would likely return for another stay. "

All the food is really top quality (there are other places to eat nearby but we opted mainly to use the hotel restaurant for dinner each night). But above all the staff, without exception, were extremely helpful, friendly and efficient throughout, they made an excellent stay truly memorable. "
