Hotels.com can't guarantee Pet rooms available
Reserved online with Hotels.com, using the Pet Friendly filter and also adding in remarks that we had a 10 pound dog. Upon arrival the hotel did not have any more pet rooms. THIS IS A DISCONNECT between Hotels.com and the hotels they list. Evidently there is no way for Hotels.com to confirm that Pet Friendly hotels actually have rooms available. And is it up the the HOTEL (not Hotels.com) to decide if they will refund your money. You still request a refund by calling Hotels.com but they, in turn, then ask the hotel for the refund. Fortunately this Best Western agreed. BUT Hotels.com really needs to find a solution to this disconnect with the listed hotels.

Everyone from check in to the continental breakfast was amazing. The facility is very clean. The breakfast crew was fantastic and the food was very good. We definitely plan on staying here again.

A truly comfortable, clean and welcoming place. I was skeptical of the other glowing reviews but was pleasantly surprised. It felt like a high-end newly built hotel! Kind, friendly staff. Attention to detail in clean rooms and delicious breakfast. Will absolutely stay here again as I drive through the country.

So I don't typically leave reviews for random 1-night stays at a chain hotel during a family roadtrip, but my 9 and 11 year old boys raved about this one particular Best Western hotel during our 9-night trip traveling through Idaho/Wyoming/Utah in the middle of August. True, this hotel is very clean, well maintained and the rooms are comfortable. The breakfast was also really quite good - eggs, waffles, biscuits/gravy, sausage and bacon etc and the pool looked quite clean (we didn't have time to go swimming). Staff was quite nice. All in all this is a nice, very serviceable Best Western. But to hear my kids talk about it, it's the Four Seasons in Fiji or something. Despite the fact that there is virtually nothing to walk to around the area, my boys were sad that we only stayed one night. So I have no choice but to leave a 5-star review for the place.

Kemmerer is an old country town with several old motels in it, but surrounded by rugged wonderful surroundings for fossil hunting, fishing, hunting etc. The Best Western Plus is a new beautiful facility that allows you to enjoy the area in comfort.

we stayed here on the drive between yellowstone and salt lake city. It's a little out of nowhere but the staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, and the breakfast was good.

Great Best Western, the place to stay in Kemmerer
We usually trust the Best Western chain but this hotel was exceptional. Very modern, very clean and a great staff. The breakfast was over the top good. We were very pleased. There are not a lot of good options in Kemmerer and we are so glad we got this booking.

Dirty, grumpy, unkempt grounds
Breakfast very good, the rest - not so much. Room not cleaned, hairs in bed, food wrappers and food and slime in plugged sink. Long, red hair in tub, whisker on bathroom counter. Had to require that room be cleaned, while sitting in lobby late at night for 30 minutes. They aren't educated on service animals, and tried to tell me I had to be in an unavailable pet friendly room. Landscaping is dying and full of weeds. No refund was given, only points to Best Western app, which I hardly use. I needed a credit to my card, which they wouldn't do. I spent hours on the phone and at the front desk, trying to work this all out. Had to get my mom dressed and take her to the lobby instead of resting in our room. Shame on this hotel for trying to slide on a dirty room. :-(
