The villa sleeps up to 2 guests, and consists of a double bedroom, a bathroom, an open plan kitchenette and living room and a dining table for 4\. The outdoor area features a private pool with loungers and a sitting area where you can relax and enjoy your meals while gazing at the magnificent views. The villa is inside a complex consisting of stone cottages, villas and studios, located in the traditional village of Tzamarelata. The place is in keeping with the traditional feeling of the island whilst at the same time offering all of the modern facilities that make your stay more comfortable. In the complex you can find the famous restaurant run by the family - every day the menu features a delicious Kefalonian dish made with vegetables that you can find in the gardens! Although the villa offers a private pool, you can make use of the communal pool with sun loungers that the complex offers. The stone house was transformed to a luxurious villa, maintaining the traditional Kefalonian architecture and style, with plenty of light and a spacious feel throughout. Prepare basic meals in the kitchenette, or have your breakfast delivered to the villa (with an extra charge) and eat at the family restaurant which prepares traditional dishes using vegetables from their garden. Relax on the sun loungers around your private pool or dine outside making the most of the stunning sea view. This villa offers a wonderful retreat with luxury, modernity and nature in harmony. Jul 21, 2022 Liked: Cleanliness Disliked: Check-in, communication, listing accuracy #### 5 Star View, 1 Star Service. I have had the opportunity to travel extensively staying frequently in VRBOs. We have never been treated as rudely and condescendingly as we have on this trip. We didn’t arrive until late on Sunday night and Niko handed us the key and said to go in as he had to get back to dinner. We settled in & tried to log in to the internet and were not able to. Internet was very important to us as our family was traveling here & letting them know where to meet us and coordinate logistics was important. We went & found Niko & told him, he said he would have a service come &look at our villa on Monday or Tuesday at the latest. Monday our internet still did not work. Tuesday our internet still did not work. My family arrived in Greece on Tuesday, we had to pay for international to connect with them, they stopped by for the afternoon to see us & swim in our pool. We received a noise complaint about music even though the sound was not loud (it was louder the day before & we didn’t receive a complaint). I went up to inquire about this & asked to speak to Niko. The woman (I’m assuming a wife of one of the owners) immediately began yelling at me & was incredibly condescending. I was shocked, I have never been treated this rudely before. I asked her about the internet and told her our TV and phones still do not work and it was frustrating to make plans with our family when we couldn’t message them. She said “show me” as she didn’t believe me. I told her to follow me & she and one of the owners came to our villa. They turned on the TV and the man saw the error message and knew it was not connected properly. She was oblivious & continued to yell at us and even picked up the booklet & was shaking it at us and pointing to the passcode saying “did you even try this”. I again told her that we had done this on Sunday & told Nico and that they should have had someone out by now. I also shared my screen with her again saying this error message wouldn’t even show up if we weren’t connected. They then just walked out and left. Wednesday we still did not internet. Thursday we we were leaving & a service came in to our villa and updated the TV so that it worked. I’m very disappointed from a safety perspective that they did not inform us when a third party would be entering our place. This happened unannounced which is completely unacceptable. We received no follow-up, no hellos & no service. It’s such a beautiful property that we felt uncomfortable at & could not enjoy. ##### philip p. Stayed 7 nights in Jul 2022
