Our only quibble was the lack of restaurant options, there was only one open one during our stay. Unfortunately there are no other restaurant or store options outside the resort that you can walk to. Otherwise it’s a beautiful resort with a very attentive staff. "

"I’m this is a comfortable and lovely condo. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle of tourists in Kona but close enough to shopping and dining when needed. Safe. Secure gated community. Perfect for 1 to 6 people. I will stay here again."

"We have stayed at Kanaloa multiple times and find it to be one of the best vacation condos in Kona. Kanaloa is in a great location on the waterfront within walking distance of snorkel beaches, shops and restaurants. The units are roomy, clean, quiet and nicely furnished. Most of the units have central air conditioning which is a must in the summer months."

"This property was in a convenient location, with a nice ocean view from the lanai and master bedroom. Kris was very helpful and responsive and made sure we had what we needed for a comfortable stay."

"We traveled to Kona with 2 friends this trip and stayed at the listing. I was thrilled with the accuracy of the photos and views! The condo was beautifully furnished, there were ample towels and linens. The kitchen had every appliance and implement you would need if you wanted to cook for the week, not that we did. There were boogie boards, beach towels, and lots of other things we did not need. The views from the lanai are incredible. We sat on the balcony every available moment. The main bedroom opens onto the balcony/lanai and you hear the surf all night long. The unit was clean and the directions for trash, recycling were very accurate. Washer, dryer, dishwasher, large fridge with icemaker and filtered water, hair dryers in each bathroom along with basic shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, dish soap. Some spices and condiments. Any communication with the owners was very quick. We had no issues during the stay and absolutely plan to return. The location was convenient to everything. Shopping is available at the top of the hill, along with 2 wonderful restaurants Tropics and Sunset View (I think)."
