It is located at 1.400 feet in elevation which provides cooler nights and relaxing rainy afternoons during the rainy season. Home was completely remodeled in winter of 2022\. We are 5 min away from a few great dining options and the beautiful Kealakekua Bay known for its amazing snorkeling! \*This room is new to vacation rentals and that is why it does not have any reviews yet. It met our expectations in that regard. However I would not recommend this place for an older guest. The bed was raised about 3 feet off the floor so a small ladder was attached for access. One side of the bed is up against the wall, so there is only one way in and out. Good luck if you need to get up in the middle of the night. Place was small and cramped. Bathroom wall did not extend to the ceiling, so if you turned on the light to use the toilet, the whole room was lit---I woke up my wife. The host wasn't around so I spoke to his children about how to use the TV for local programs, but they were unable to figure it out either.
