Only a 10 minute walk, about 140 stairs down and one of the most spectacular views I've seen for such a short route on foot. What's better is there is wheelchair access too. It was immaculate and very well resourced. Our whanau were all very comfortable with their rooms/beds and our dog made the most of being able to sprint up and down the large, secure section. The parking area was also large and made dealing with boats and trailers a breeze. Our host was very accommodating and quick to respond. She seemed to have thought of every need. We absolutely recommend this property. It would be our preferred place to stay when we come back to Kawhia. ##### Catherine M.
