The host was very responsive and helpful and even let us check in early. A couple things to be aware of: there is a dam right by the cottage so there’s a mild current and waterfall sounds which we personally didnt mind. Secondly, swimming right off the dock isn’t fantastic since it’s somewhat shallow and there are lures in the rocks. That being said, there is a public swimming dock a 2 min walk down the way that was very nice and the dock at the cottage was perfectly fine for docking our 20 ft boat, the dam doesn’t cause a wake. The town was very quiet and felt very secure. The cottage itself met all our needs. There is a local Foodland and Home Hardware within a 5 minute drive from the cottage. Overall, we had a fantastic time and really enjoyed our stay! ##### Kelley H.
