It is a lively place, especially during warm days when many residents and tourists enjoy the vibrant square. The Market Square offers a variety of attractions, including cultural events, open-air concerts, festivals, and fairs that attract both locals and visitors. The University of Silesia is just a 20-minute walk away. Nearby, there are many tourist attractions worth visiting, such as the Silesian Philharmonic, Silesian Museum, Silesian Theatre, Spodek Arena, and the Valley of Three Ponds.
