We know how it is. You spend too long in the city and you start to go a bit crazy. So why not jump on the train and head up to the mountains for some rest and relaxation? Our new two-bedroom apartment offers a great combination of comfort – with its leather lounge, fireplace, flat screen TV and spacious sleeping quarters – and convenience. It's opposite the train station and the Blue Mountains Explorer bus stop, so you don't need a car, and Katoomba's shopping strip is just around the corner.

The Neighborhood:  
Katoomba is the classic Blue Mountains town. Perched high above Sydney in the middle of the Blue Mountains National Park, it's the jumping off point for some of the area's most iconic attractions: Scenic World, the Three Sisters and Echo Point. Beyond the natural beauty, it's almost impossibly cute, with more than enough beautiful sandstone buildings, art deco cafes, gardens, pubs and boutique shops to keep you busy.  
  
Getting Around:  
Two minutes' walk to Katoomba Train Station. Trains leave regularly to Sydney and take two hours to Central Station. You can also catch the train to other towns in the Blue Mountains.  
  
I highly recommend using ride-sharing services: For first time users, download the Uber app for more information.

#### Nice place but a few issues...

A nicely furnished apartment that was clean and modern with lots of handy items for food preparation. Well located for Katoomba, however there is NO parking - as it is so central, all surrounding parking is for a maximum of one hour every day, which is very inconvenient if you have a car and are travelling as a family. Also lots of little annoying things like flat batteries in TV remotes, no salt and pepper in the shakers provided and I also had to follow up the managers to receive check in details on the day of arrival. We also found the beds to be very uncomfortable, but this is a personal preference so may not be the same for anyone else.

#### Small Improvements needed

Convenient location but the address advised is different to the actual location so took us 30mins to workout entrance to the apartments. Apartment was clean but dusty. For most families this is fine but we have a few members with dust mite allergies/eczema which flared up. Additionally, there needs to be some maintenance as a few things weren't working such as the bathroom, heated floors, heated towel rails, power points and airconditioning. Makes it less comfortable during the winter months.
