Kastel Luksic is one of the seven Kastel's between Trogir and Split. The town is settled in a very rich flatland and in it you can see many cultural monuments such as the church of St. John Birnj, the Vitturi castle which holds the city museum, the Our Lady of the Assumption church, the Vitturi park, Kastel Tataglia and others. Beaches of the Kastela region combine into a 6km long string of bays and bathing areas which are shaded by pine trees and tamaris. Every year from July 1st to august 31st, the “Kaštela Cultural Summer” festivities are held which consists of 60 different events: theatre plays, photography exhibits, popular and classical music concerts, folklore, sports competitions and various fishing and hunting festivities. Kastel Luksic is reccomended for a quiet vacation and the vicinity of Split, the tourist metropolis of Central Dalmatia and Trogir, medieval pearl guarantee all kinds of fun and numerous historical and interesting places where you can go during the day or in the evening. \*\*\*\* Getting around: Bus station is just 50m away.
